El Sazon Mexicano — Restaurant in Salisbury

Me and my fiance went here for the first time. We seen the rating and I was craving authentic Mexican food so I stopped in. The atmosphere was off, I didn't like other customers staring at us when we came in like they never seen black people before. The guy that was at the register was the one that seated us and waited on us I guess it was a slow day because only one waitress was working. Our food time was OK but the food was so seasonless ans tasteless. The birria tacos was disgusting I couldn't scen get through the first one and my fiance ordered fajitas which had more peppers than meat. I ask for the shrimp, chicken bowl it had rice, guacamole, lettuce, Tom, they did not give me the cooked peppers that was SUSPOSE to be in it, no queso cheese that was SUSPOSE to be in it, they gave 3 shrimp after I ask for extra shrimp being I didn't want steak, they didn't cut chicken in strips they just laid breast in there and that was stringy and weird tasting. Was a little empty around 7:00PM and other than a little bit of a wait, this place was fantastic. The seating arrangement seemed a little awkward and open, but the food made up for any doubts and reservations about the place. The (3) chicken tacos came with just the meat on the tortillas, and you could put all of your toppings on at a little bar they had by the register.
