Juicy Bucket Seafood & Bar Salisbury — Restaurant in Salisbury

I use to eat Juicy Bucket alot. But it has definitely changed for the worse. So today, I ordered a Small bucket with EXTRA juicy mix sauce. Instead I got less than what is in a normal juicy bucket. This was a pickup. I rarely pickup. But, since there has never been an issue before I didn't think to check my order. When I got home, I looked and seen that I had a juicy bucket with hardly any juicy mix in it. I called the manager who just wanted to argue about their f---up. I requested to be compensated for their mix up by requesting eggs along with the Extra juicy mix and was denied. Mind you, they only cost $1.99. The gas to drive back out for them to fix their mistake costs more than that. Her (manager) seen the bag and still tried to justify a tablespoon that had went into the second bag which it leaked to. Obviously if there is a whole in the bag and all you see is a tablespoon, the restaurant is obviously at fault. Instead of remaking me a fresh hot bag knowing I never touched the first bag, they opened it dumped it all in a fresh bag with the same food with a normal level of juicy mix sauce which was Luke warm when I received it and cold when I got back to the house. Needless to say, I would advise that you check your bag because they are NOT reliable when it comes to ordering online nor correcting their f---ups. I will NEVER order from this place again. Save your money and go to another seafood place because even the service when you dine in isn't the same anymore. Such a shame that a place like this with so much potential has the worse management ever. First time there. Went there around 4:30 , 5 p.m. on a Tuesday. Wasnt many people in there for the time of day so we were a bit skeptical. We noticed the place was very clean and the waitresses all said hi to us. We were seated then asked what we wanted to drink. They have a beer and wine menu plus mixed drinks of many varieties. Also serve Coke products. The menu is not real large and consists of mostly seafood Choices of buckets that you can order of varying sizes and options as to what seafood you want in each bucket that comes to the table. We chose bucket A as a way to try them out. It came with a crab cluster , shrimp , peeled and deveined, and also corn and sausage and potatoes. We really enjoyed it. It was steamed or boiled as they call it in a garlic butter sauce It was very good. You can choose several different varieties (flavors) , as to the sauce and the level of spiciness. We chose mild. The waitress was very friendly and cheerful and helped us out with the menu and how things go as far as how to order your meal. Eventually more people started to enter the restaraunt and it seemed it is a great spot to eat. I think my wife and i will be back at some point to try more of their selections. It was seasoned and cooked just right The food we had was delicious. We really enjoyed it. A big win for us and the meal with drinks only came to around 30 dollars or so with tip, for two. That's not bad for seafood.! It was as good a meal as any we would get, had we headed to Ocean City. I do recommend trying this restaraunt and i think you will enjoy it. Where do I begin, first let's start with refreshments, the basic water request. The water itself tasted so strongly of chemicals that I would like an inspection performed by the City of Salisbury. Water that tastes that strongly of cleaning chemicals almost ruined the meal before we could order. This was followed by a sparse serving in the seafood boil bags. I didn't know there was a potato famine in effect, but the Juicy Bucket only provides one small red potato and a formerly frozen half ear of corn. The steamed oysters, were not steamed but defrosted in the oven and covered in a sauce to hide the lack of freshness. Oysters should not taste fishier than halibut. Basically in the end, I do not recommend this restaurant, bad food, bad value, and quite possibly a chemical issue with the water they use for drinking, cooking, or sanitation. Save your money and just buy ingredients from the grocery store, nothing is actually fresh...
