Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Salisbury

Pissed off hungry pregnant lady right here! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT MOES IN SALISBURY! I always look forward to the greeting "welcome to moe's" and we got nothing. Downloaded the app outside so we could get the regular moes Monday special to only see a sign inside that stated it wouldnt be honored if downloaded today. Cashier refused to scan my rewards code. After I informed them that sweet tea was unsweetened I had to request a new cup and then the "manager "(I guess..he was wearing blue but didn't act like it) proceeded to taste it as if I was lying. The salsa area was gross...lemons covered in salsa. Everything was tossed in together in each bin in the prep area. This blonde girl named "natalie" kept making comments when I told them this was my worst experience here ever. THEN I find on my receipt I was overcharged. So I calmly went up and asked for an adjustment at which point I was challenged again. She proceeded to walk up to the guy and make a rude comment about me...THE CUSTOMER . Angru pregnant mode came out....I loudly said "yes ...it is a big deal. I was overcharged. Anything else to say Natalie?" The manager finally came out and asked if I had an issue. I told him not anymore and that i would be calling corporate in the morning. Not only was it bad service and cleanliness ...but i couldn't redeem the moes Monday on the burrito special AND i had to listen to employees bad mouth me over my complaint....

So I was hungry and decided to stop in at our local Moe's - Greeted with the typical mumble of "we have hairy toe's" I proceeded to start my order. The underpaid "don't want to be here" employee asked me what I wanted - Beef Nachos- so they grabbed a handful of nachos and asked if I wanted beans or rice- neither I said - so he asked again- I again said ok I'll take pinto beans-they than proceeded to put the largest spoon full of pinto beens that rivaled the heights of Kilimanjaro on my nacho chips- after that he grabbed a baby spoon and sprinkled some beef over the top (like christening a baby) -just so they can say it's beef nacho's _ they added a ton of lettuce -but once again a light dusting of cheese - small squirt of guacamole and sour cream for $10.95 and a small drink for $2.95. My family ordered the rest of our meal and it came up to $54.75. So I pulled out a $50 and a $5. The cashier said they don't take $50 Bill's. What!?! This is legal tender - I ask for the manager and he repeats that statement. So the hard earned cash that I got from the bank is not wanted by Moe's -No problem I am sure Chipotle or Taco Bell will take my money- No More...

I stopped by for a late lunch or a early dinner . The staff was friendly but that is about the only thing good about this place . I ordered a bowl . The food was only luke warm and you could tell it had been sitting there a while and the food on a steam table were not up to temps so bacteria will start on foods not kept up to temps and you could tell that the food had been sitting so the hold time were prob well past due but good flavor for warm food . I got my order to eat in WELL there was not one clean table in the place yet only one other customer in the building . There was trash on the floor and under tables so I look over and there it is social media is more important then customer service . There was no ice in the one soda machine that was working the other soda machine was down trash all over the counter where you get your sauces the place was just plain filthy it is a shame I like moe's but i will not be going back here or recommend...
