Flaming Grill & Buffet — Restaurant in Salisbury

I have always liked this place. Despite the negative reviews. If I am at work it is definitely the go to place if I am eating out. Get a quick take out box and go about my way spending around 8$ for my platter. Which is really good. The food is always good. And I've never found hair or bugs! It's a buffet people, sometimes they really can't help if flies fly into the food. Sometimes they just may not notice if one landed. People walk in and out so many times flies fly in. At a BBQ do you complain because flies are swarming? No, they are attracted to the coolness of the building and the smell of the food. If they know then yes, they are absolutely disgusting for not removing all of the dish that it was found in and thrown away. Gross in a way, but kind of just a thing that happens in summer with a buffet that does not have covers for their food. On the other hand dining in has not always been a good experience. Once in awhile it's okay. But, nine times out of ten it's terrible. They need more attentive staff. Who notice you have no drink left and bring you more. But, I've had the same experience at Chinatown Buffet. The real number one worst visit was when I took my 12 year old sister in law, and her 9 year old cousin. The waiter had been constantly flirting and I had enough, I said dude she's 9 and she's 12. Go hit on somebody your own age! He continued to flirt. Eyed her up and down and said 12 really?? Me and my family went here for a family outing every time we went there it was always something wrong with the experience but today was just outrageous when we sat the waitress threw the straws down on the table and they fell in the floor and she just walked away the sodas was extremely watered down we told them take the sodas back and just give us water then it came to the food everything was hard and dry the dumplings was so hard the only soft part on them was the part that was stuck with the meat I tried the chicken that comes with the red sweet sauce the breading was crumbling that's how hard and stale it was in the meat was dry on the inside to the point that it had turned up brownish color the crabs and seafood seafood tasted funny the french fries was stale the only thing that seemed edible was the egg rolls but everything else in the whole buffet tasted funny and was dry I know food is it supposed to sit for no more than 2 hours but by the condition of the food that food has been sitting out at least 4 hours at that point I was fed up and I was ready to leave but I decided I was going to try dessert they didn't have too much but I'll try to piece of cake and was extremely disappointed I used my phone to cut into the cake and the bread was so hard and stuck to the fork and tasted it like cardboard at this point I don't see any good in going back to that place I think it was like $14 a person and that was four of us just to sit and not even...

A Disastrous Dining Experience

I regret to say that my recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of appalling. The place was downright disgusting, and I feel compelled to share my experience with others.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waitress who seemed completely indifferent to her surroundings. She openly scratched her armpit and head, oblivious to the audience of diners watching her. To make matters worse, she had visible sores on her face and body, which was both unprofessional and unsanitary.

The lack of hygiene extended beyond the staff’s behavior. The employees handling the food for the buffet did not wear gloves. Witnessing bare hands touching the dishes that would end up on our trays was deeply unsettling. It’s basic food safety protocol, and their negligence was inexcusable.

The state of the bathrooms was equally distressing. They were filthy, with broken fixtures and an overpowering stench. It’s hard to believe that such conditions are allowed in a public establishment.

To add insult to injury, we spent less than 15 minutes there before deciding to leave. I had paid for a buffet that I didn’t even get to enjoy. If the employees are this nasty in front of customers, one can only imagine what happens behind closed...
