My husband and I like to go to breakfast after our work is finished. This is one of the few places you can get food without grease. So we have always enjoyed Biscuitville.
This day, 15th of Dec, was a shock, followed by saddness. . There have been times, we have been served, things missing, or someone else's order, we forgive those times because it's part of business, things can never be perfect. This day, I received my pancake stack, my husband, his food. We always look in the bag because we had things wrong and corrected while still there.....but we "never open" the containers to check food inside, risk making a mess in the vehicle and so on. When arriving to our destination, my pancakes did not look right, and my husband did not get his sausage gravy. Lifted the first pancake (it was in pieces) the second pancake had black splatter, and was crunchy? The third one, I tried to eat. A couple of bites and realized I had some pancake with my chemicals. Some sort of cooking spray....to clean with?? It stuck to my teeth and I felt like parts of my mouth were swelling. It absolutely tasted like a train wreck! All three had something wrong with them. Just threw in trash, went hungry. I didn't say much to my husband because he bought my breakfast, and I knew it would make him feel bad....he tried to get me a good breakfast. I decided to tell him, the next day, waiting in line, at Biscuitville. I would have been satisfied to receive another stack........ free of charge! And for him, if I were Manager, I would have offered something on the menu that he would be happy with.....free of charge! Our server was informed of our bad experience, she told my husband "sorry" and proceeded to charge full price for the food. I leaned over, after realizing her actions, and said. "I can't believe you would charge him full price!", (letting us leave mad and disgusted.) She just shrugged her shoulders. When the bag was passed over, she said check to make sure.... And guess what?!? My husband's entire breakfast was missing!! At this point, we felt like someone was messing with us for saying something..... we both were worried about the foods safety.
This is my 2nd review, ever, giving less than 5 stars. My husband, it's his first. We are saddened because this was the only recourse available, when this matter should have been handled at the location,...
Read moreI had a doctor's appointment this day and when I got off the exit I noticed the biscuitville. Where I'm from, they are everywhere. I was excited to see it because I really wanted breakfast but didn't have time to stop. As I was leaving my doctor's appointment I noticed that there were people in the drive-thru and immediately made a u-turn. I went inside and was greeted by the lovely staff. I had a lot of questions because the menu has changed significantly since I've been inside of one. However I found what I wanted which is usually the only thing I ever get. That is the country steak biscuit I believe it's called. Keep in mind it was already 1:30 and they close at 2:00. This I had forgotten. So I already prepared myself to receive something stale although I was going to be happy with it nonetheless because I haven't had biscuitville in over 20 years. I placed my order and I added eggs and bacon on the side. When I tell you I received all of my food fresh, I was extremely ecstatic about that. They literally dropped the steak to order a long with the bacon and egg being cooked to order. I noticed that the biscuits had just come up after placing my order as well. Lately I had been going to Bojangles because they have a country style steak biscuit. However, there's more biscuit than steak and you're lucky if you get it fresh. When I tell you the steak and biscuitville was bigger than the biscuit... And I don't know if they just pull the bread filling out automatically or what but I was happy with what I received. I found out that there's one closer to me now and I just might start getting up extra early just so I can go get the breakfast that I want because I know I will be happy with it. Those ladies at that store are simply amazing. Great experience, clean restaurant and bathroom. They all...
Read moreWhile traveling home we stumbled across Biscuitville and we were oh so lucky we did. We had never heard of it and something different sounded good.
The prices were very reasonable and the menu looked great. I wanted to sample every biscuit on there. I ordered 3 pancakes and a drink, my son the bacon egg and cheese combo, my husband the sausage breakfast platter. There were muffins in the case so we ordered a blueberry muffin and strawberry muffin. Never had a strawberry muffin before.
The pancakes melted in your mouth. Best pancakes I have ever had. The sausage platter came with eggs, grits and biscuit. Best sausage he ever ate. Perfect proportions. My son loved the biscuit and the hash brown was not loaded with grease like most places. The muffins we shared and were so moist and flavorful.
Biscuitville has a fast food appearance with 5 star food. You can stand at the window and watch them hand make the biscuits and she made it look so easy. The staff all had a nice appearance, very friendly and polite. The bathrooms were clean, and well stocked. The lobby was clean, and tables all wiped.
I had to mark my location on google map because we will definitely be back. It's roughly two miles from I-85 and will be a definite pit stop on our next...
