I read the reviews and saw so many one stars or two stars on the service ? Why? Its an airport and there are tons of people? I went here in November and the staff was very accommodating for my friend and I. He doesn’t consume meat for religious reasons and asked if they could omit these items from the pizza. They did as asked and made sure to change gloves as well.
In addition I will say this… I have had never had the flavor combinations presented in this establishment’s menu on pizza and I must say it was phenomenal.
We ordered one pizza to share but quickly ordered two more and the lemonade.
All deserving of best _ award.
There was three people working here handling over 60-70 people’s orders.
So when I see that people say “bad service” I wish I could downvote or onestar their review. It seems like they didnt consider the other people in line or how many orders were in front of them. Not to mention its a crowded airport with tons of people. The staff was clearly doing their best and I commend them all.
Yes I waited 10-15 min for my food, but this is fresh pizza from a fire oven!
No matter how long your wait time, what you are purchasing is some of the pizza in nation!
I wish there was another location near me! I would fly into Utah just to get...
Read moreExcellent alternative to Shake Shack (the lines 😳) or if you’re craving pizza. Extensive menu with lots of unique salad and beverage offerings. I was looking forward to returning to this airport spot after my last visit a few years ago. I ordered the Limone and added chicken. A few things kept it from being five stars, but it was still very good, especially for an airport meal. The bake was light for this style of pizza—minimal crust bubbles and quite blond— but the lemons were zingy, the garlic was a nice counterpoint, and the rest of the ingredients were high quality. I ordered one of their cute brownies but it was forming a crust from exposure and it lacked the punch of chocolate I was looking for. The topping was too sugary and lemony to work for me. That said, most of the menu seems solid, the counter staff was friendly and prompt, and the pizza makers had a gorgeous pile of sliced pears going for one of their other pies. I would return but hope they keep offering food that’s worthy of a five-star review as they have a...
Read moreWord of advice: DO NOT ORDER THE BONJOURNO PIZZA (breakfast pizza)!
Although it sounds tasty, the egg in the center kept the dough underneath it from cooking, so the center was completely raw. The potato slices were just thick enough to stay soggy, the sausage mixture didn’t have much flavor, and the maple syrup drizzle was too watered down to hold any shape on the pizza. The one redeeming quality was the jalapeño, which thankfully added some flavor to an otherwise bland and soggy meal.
I do think the pizza has potential though, with a few tweaks—a spicier sausage, crispier potatoes, and a fully-cooked center.
I’m disappointed to give this review, as I’ve actually been a long-time fan of Pizzeria Limone. Next time I’m at the airport, I’d consider going again, but will stick to my tried-and-true usual: the Viola (prosciutto and blackberries).
If you find yourself in the mood for pizza at the airport, just make sure to not order the bonjourno (no matter how yummy it may look in...
