I travel in and out of SLC on a near weekly basis for work (it’s my home airport) and I gave this place several shots especially since they’re located next to baggage claim it’s convenient when you get in. However, their service takes forever, the staff is beyond rude, and the food and drinks are meh at best. The latest thing that tipped me over the edge was getting in from an early morning flight where I’m clearly just trying to set my stuff down and gather myself before heading to baggage claim the staff member had the absolute gall to tell me it was restaurant seating only LOL and I had to leave? Like sir…is it that serious? The restaurant seating was literally at less than 5% capacity and I just needed a surface to juggle the stuff in my hands. As others have mentioned some updated policies and customer service training would go a long way. He followed me and chased me over to another area far less convenient and more crowded. I watched him do the same thing to a couple of gentlemen in a similar situation (they were actually airport employees too which is even more wild to me). Overall you’re just better off dining at literally any of the other many delicious offerings this...
Read moreNow, I'm not usually one to comment on other people's experiences, but this kind of "stuck in my craw"
A customer approached your counter not long ago with a beverage from the kiosk. He made several polite attempts to get the cashier's attention before raising his voice slightly in a lilting tone. Though impatient, it seemed polite enough to me. This is an airport after all. Once he had the young man's attention, he calmly asked where he could pay for the beverage. The young man answered with "well, you're in front of the pickup station. Orders are over there. 1 plus 1..." as if that somehow excused him? I wasn't thinking he might be ignoring that man until he said this. But his condescending tone and remark were uncalled for and inappropriate for any point of sale representative in my opinion. Not a good representation of your brand. If I knew less about how airport franchises work, it would have affected my opinion of this entire chain. I would recommend a little more CS training for your airport representatives or closer attention to their general temperament before placing them at a P.O.S. HE represents your brand. The...
Read moreWe ate here because we were dropping my son off at the airport, and since his flight kept getting delayed, we decided to treat him to lunch before he left. The food was good quality, especially for the airport. It was a cross between fast food and a sit-down restaurant. You order at the counter, and then they give you a flashing pager that lights up when your order is ready. They seemed to be understaffed as it took a while to order and also get any help when we needed condiments or take-home boxes. The decor was very clean and modern looking, and they had plenty of places for you to sit and charge your phones or laptops. The prices were about the same as any regular restaurant, and it took about 20 minutes or more to get our food as this is not...
