I visited this Beans & Brews and ordered a tan iced mocha with whipped cream and cocoa powder. Unfortunately, when I first received the drink, it was missing both the whipped cream and the water so it wasn’t even made correctly to begin with.
I didn’t specify that I wanted the cocoa powder sprinkled on top of the whipped cream rather than mixed in. That part was on me. When I politely asked if they could remake it, they agreed, which I appreciated.
However, the remake was overdone. They added so much cocoa powder that it completely ruined the drink. The photo I’ve attached was taken after my husband tried blowing off about 80% of the powder, and there was still an overwhelming amount left.
What made the experience worse was when the barista handed us the drink and laughed. It felt intentional and disrespectful, especially since we were never rude or demanding—we simply asked nicely if it could be remade. I left feeling really...

I’ve noticed a huge decline in quality control. The past 4 times the coffee has tasted bad. I ordered an ice coffee, splash of coconut milk and asked for “light ice”. I grabbed my coffee at the window and drove away. When I went to drink my coffee I was blown away that the whole cup was full of ice with very little coffee. And the coffee tasted acidic as if it had gone rancid. When I got home I poured out the coffee to see how much coffee there even was. Read moreI don't often review places because I feel my continued patronage adequately communicates my level of satisfaction with a business. However, I felt compelled to write this after stopping by the other day.
Daz is the manager with whom I mostly associate at this location, and she is a big part of why I will continue to come back. She--and the rest of her crew--are always friendly, at least pretend they are happy to see me there, and always get my order right. Even after I've changed it three times. She does not get paid nearly enough for how welcome she and the others make me feel there, even when I spend a few hours. I hope the upper management sees this and knows just how satisfied this store is making people.
