Loved the food so much and the service was great! The vegan food options are plentiful and I can really get behind these Tiger Wings. Handlebar has definitely become my favorite location for vegan wings. The decor is spot on and super festive. Our server was awesome with some stellar beer recommendations. There is plenty of parking and you shouldn't have to worry about paying extra $ for a good spot. I do have some concerns about the safety for disabled, service dog handlers however. There was a customer who was allowed inside with their clearly untrained dog, who was pulling their owner around. It was obvious that this person was a regular and well known by other employees. The owner also dropped the leash of their dog and the dog was allowed to roam around the establishment uncontrolled. Super scary for anyone who either 1.) Is afraid of dogs. 2.) Someone like myself who is a disabled, service dog handler and was present when this happened. This is definitely a violation and puts those who are disabled and require a service dog at risk. An uncontrolled dog in an establishment could harm a disabled person's medical equipment. There's definitely a lack of education here and a leniency for friends who break the rules. If you are disabled and have a service dog, you might want to steer clear. I hope that the owners of Handlebar will educate their staff on ADA laws and also health code. 3 stars because of the accessibility issue/lack of safety for disabled patrons.

Handle Bar is hands down one of the best hangout spots in Salt Lake City. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in and stay a while. One of the biggest highlights for me is how dog-friendly they are — bringing my pup here feels totally natural, and the staff and patrons are always so kind and accommodating toward dogs. It’s rare to find a place where your four-legged friend is just as welcome as you are. The atmosphere is unmatched — laid-back, quirky, and full of character. Whether you’re grabbing a drink after a mountain hike, meeting up with friends, or just chilling solo, it hits the mark. There’s plenty of outdoor space, great music, and a friendly crowd that adds to the whole experience. The drink selection is solid, the service is consistently great, and the entire place just gives off good energy. If you’re in SLC and looking for a fun, casual spot that embraces the local vibe and lets you bring your dog along for the ride, Handle Bar is it. It’s quickly become a go-to spot for me, and I always look forward to the next visit.

Went there for the first time tonight, had a really great time. Love the atmosphere and the live music, we saw Brother Chunky. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the dry rub wings were amazing. The Pita Pizza was very satisfying as well. Service was really good while the waitress was there. After she left, all that was left was bartenders. Bartender Andrew was really attentive and was working hard the whole time. The other two were barely making an effort. It’s really funny, because the owner came in to deliver a box of merchandise, and all of a sudden the two that weren’t working were washing dishes. It made us laugh. The bouncer Charles was super cool. He helped us find a warm spot. Our only complaints about the place, is service was shotty at times, and we were freezing when we first got there. We honestly cant wait to go again. Plussed definitely outweighed the minuses.

Gawddd I love this bar! I'm usually a very shy person, so when I first visited this bar I didn't expect to feel so comfortable with it that I'd continue to go back.

I'm a picky person and somewhat of a germophobe so for this bar to impress me and keep me going back it says a lot.

Handlebar is always the first bar I visit when I'm wanting a drink, good vibes and "unhealthy" bar food. When I say unhealthy Im saying greasy junk I probably shouldn't eat every day. The food is far from greasy and unhealthy. The food taste like quality food! The price is really good for the amount and quality they serve. It just satisfies the food craving it get. Tiger wings, patty melt, vegan ranch and the fries are so mf good!! There are so many vegan options in addition to other non vegan items. The kitchen is so freaking clean, it's an open kitchen and I absolutely love that! I don't feel like they are hiding anything behind doors. The kitchen staff is really nice too they shoot smiles your way when they glance over at you 😄.

The prices vary. The specials are what I go for when I'm tight on money. A shot and a beer is around $5-8. I seen a review about preset tipping options when you check out. I've never seen those tipping options. There's also an option to choose your own amount/percentage to tip. Thought I'd mention it because as someone who has social anxiety, I'd worry I couldn't adjust the preset tipping amounts, you can!

Restrooms are clean af! They don't smell like a dirty pissy dive bar. I can tell they actually really clean and take care of the place. The place is clean inside and outside so I don't ever worry about having that grody bar feel when I leave.

The staff is super freaking kind and attentive. I'm usually alone and as a female that can be scary, but I have NEVER had any issue with feeling uneasy or uncomfortable at this place. The door person is always looking out and the staff keeps an eye out too. The people who visit this bar are all good vibes and friendly, I think it's maybe just the overall vibes that attract the right people.

They also have fun events happening for holidays and other events happening around the city. They keep up with the look of the bar and have decorative items that make the holidays a little extra fun. The drink specials are also freaking amazing. Definitely check that out.

The outdoor patio is nice! Tabletop fire pits add that little extra ambiance and feel. It's super pretty in the fall and winter.

I'm not an extroverted person so I didn't expect to like this place as much as I did and I didn't expect it would be a place that was my go to for food, and drinks, but I really do enjoy the quality and diversity of the food.

The staff deserves awards, raises or something because they all make that place incredible and they are the larger part of the reason I've made Handle...

This was my second time visiting. I can count one time with questionable service as an off day, but after today I would say that the quality of service is definitely lacking. A signal that the service was going to be bad might have been the fact that the table wasn’t wiped down when we got there.

I came again because their vegan chicken sandwich is bomb. I will probably come back but just order take out to avoid dealing with the service.

My partner and I ordered the vegan chicken sandwich and the seitan pork belly sandwich. The server double checked if we wanted the seitan pork belly or the jackfruit and I confirmed that we wanted the seitan, twice. We did not receive the seitan. By the point that we had realized the sandwich we got was incorrect, we had already had to go ask for a fork and for a side that was forgotten.

The servers all seemed very distracted and when we went to the counter to get a beer or the missing items they continued their conversation between them rather than addressing us awkwardly standing at the counter. If there was supposed to be table service, I couldn’t tell.

One last thing, the phrasing on the menu led us to believe that upgrading to the fries as a side would just replace the chips. Instead it replaced the pickle, coleslaw and the chips with only fries PLUS you also pay +$2 for getting the fries instead. The quantity is not enough to really compensate in my opinion.

I’m pretty disappointed in the...
