To be honest, I went to the theater to audition for a show...
It's been a minute since I've done a theatrical production... So my nerves? High. Not the fun 420 high.. Unless you mean that "after moment" of paranoia that one can feel after a 420 high... That's more where I was...
That said, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to meet the lovely Natalie that eased any and every type of nerve that I had built up..
I then fumbled my way into the audition room and met with Cassie, Al and Cynthia.. Sang a version of "moving too fast..." Read moreWow! I went to see the summer musical in 2025 The Wives of the Salt Lake Hive and was truly impressed. Here is my review posted on IG/FB. Hope more people go to support this excellent organization. “This expertly produced local musical was so fun to watch!!!! A satire touching on broad range of topics relevant for our days- hyper local topics ( which of course includes the LDS church, Ryan Smith, the Reagans and Swig), social media, AI, gender issues, as well as state and national politics. The show is light hearted- getting the point across without being offensive or crude. In other words I appreciate how the script skillfully appealed to a wide audience. Also feel grateful that the @slcozap Salt Lake County fund from Salt Lake County support this important...
Read moreI love going here with family and friends. The last show I saw here was Egress it was amazing and relevant for the time now. The shows are amazing and the diversity is great too. I have never seen a bad show here. Been going here for years. Love the remodels that have been done as well that Leopard carpet looks great. I can't wait for the Premiere of 'Passing Strange'. One of my favorite performances there was 'Form of a Girl Unknown' and many others. Also, a fan of the kids performances at the end of the year where I take my nieces and nephews. Keep up the great work and bringing these amazing actors/actresses. Amazing talent! I can't say enough good things about SLAC. Thanks for keeping patrons safe with vaccine requirements and...
