You know people have been camping at Warm Springs Park for hundreds of years and you idiots want to complain about people doing it now!?!?! What is wrong with you people! Just because people are camping next to the warm spring does not automatically make them drug addicts or bad people just because they are not living as you are doesn't make them beneath you. Generally these people are trying to just live and don't want to cause anybody any trouble and just want to be left alone to stay off the radar so they don't lose everything they need to just survive. So quit judging these people cause you don't see them living how you are living. Or you could end up right where they are. Maybe they don't consider it a bad way to live and not leave a huge problem to our mother earth. If they are clean and aren't causing anybody any real problems then what is the issue? Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. Criminalizing people for doing what they need to do to survive is not the answer! As long as they are not messy with their camp sight then leave them alone!!!! Nobody had homes when they first came from the East now did they?!!! The Indians lived here for thousands of years and did not have homes either but were perfectly fine with camping then too. Just because you think it's not right doesn't make it...
Read moreI love this part. It is by far the best dog park in the valley. The restrooms are clean easily accessed, the grounds themsels are rolling hills so your dog get plenty of exercise, lots of wide Open spaces a soccer field picnic areas playground for the kids.
All around the best park in the valley.
Don't drive? Catch uta's 470 bus from North Temple and third West and it'll take you directly there. You can catch the blue or green line to get within a block of the bus stop, so it's very convenient for public transportation.
Speaking of convenience there are two convenience stores nearby 7-Eleven on 500 North 3rd West Chevron on 600 North and 3rd West and there is a alternative lifestyle bar called the jam on 700 North and 3rd West. All in all is a good experience all the way...
Read moreThe area is rough due to being surrounded by high-traffic roads, a gas station across the street, the original, abandoned bath house made for the springs, and little water flowing from the springs. That being said, the middle of the water looked clear, but it still wasn’t worth trying to relax there. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because the path looks like it could be pretty during the months when it is blooming, and because it is a dog-friendly park with trash bins around making for easy cleanup. I doubt I’ll return due to the view consisting of the stop lights, passing cars, and busy...
