So far one of the worst experiences I've had at a mcdonald's here in Salt Lake City Utah and I figured it was slow so I might be in luck this time with customer service and actually hot food this time... so I went into the McDonald's and asked for a large fry and something as simple as a four piece nugget I received my food after standing there for a bit I took one bite of the fries and noticed they were already pretty room temperature and stale check the Nuggets they were just warm at best I did not complain about the Nuggets but I did say something about the french fries I asked the manager would she please give me a fresh order it is the manager in the photo she grabbed the fry bag with an attitude already and said well you ate half of them... first of all how you going to accuse me of getting a order Within seconds of noticing the temperature of the fries and accusing someone of eating half of them , I said Miss this is how she gave it to me it was barely halfway full so again she had an attitude threw the fries in the trash got me another order but I was watching her scrape the bottom of the Fry container where they put all the fries she scraped some from the bottom and put fresh fries on top I asked her could you please not have an attitude because all I wanted was some hot food and she kept saying I didn't have an attitude .. I said you did because first of all you already accused me of eating half the fries and you already had a mean look on your face like you didn't even want to serve me so instead of arguing with her I just left with my food as is but I definitely would not advise anyone coming here in the evening after 8pm if you want hot food... oh and please if you do check your food before you leave and if you want to know who I'm talking about just look at the photo I'm sure you will recognize her if you see her about 5'4 black hair medium to long hair and she is a manager... but definitely shouldn't be also last thing is I said I should report this and she said go ahead I don't care yeah I definitely won't return to this location and will try to repost this to corporate as well... oh and if you are wondering why there is a picture of the computer screen is because I asked for a receipt because the receipt they gave me was so faded I couldn't see it for and needed it business purposes, I asked for a better receipt on a different computer if possible she just turned the computer around and said here take a photo...wow... she is horrible and I feel bad for the employees dealing with...
Read moreI actually went to two McDonald's to try and buy breakfast for my boyfriend & I. However after spending the time to download the app so we could use the coupons they offer we pulled up to the window the lady demanded that we have the coupon so she could scan it once we handed it to her she scanned the coupon and then informed us that they had no frappes due to cleaning the machine. It was 7 a.m. and I'm just wondering why at one of the busiest times of the day was the ice cream machine being cleaned anyway? Who's decision was this and if it wasn't a decision the manager had made then my question is why are things like that being left up to a regular crew member to decide in the first place? Sound's like Management needs to be held accountable alittle more for the things their crew members are doing and making sure they are completely at the right time of each shift and if a manager did me this decision then I think they need to maybe step down or back alittle at least and get some more training.
So off to the 2nd McDonald's to try getting a a coupon carmal frappes and now we could not use the coupon because it had already been scanned at the first McDonald's. So to make a long story shorter we not only had to drive and find another McDonald's we then can I use...
Read moreDisappointing Customer Service and Unjustified Upcharge
I recently visited a McDonald’s location for breakfast before a car show and was extremely disappointed by the service and pricing policy. When ordering a combo meal, I requested to swap the soda for a simple cup of ice water—nothing bottled, just tap water. To my surprise, they upcharged me $1 per water, even though I was replacing the drink in my meal.
When I questioned the charge, the employee explained that the system automatically adds the fee, and switching back to soda wasn’t an option. Seeking clarification, I spoke with a manager, but instead of listening and understanding, she insisted that water costs more than soda—even though it was just a cup of water! Ultimately, I was charged even more due to a confusing "add-on drink" policy.
This location, much like the Redwood Rd & North Temple locations, has gone downhill in terms of service and customer satisfaction. At this point, I’d rather grab a breakfast sandwich at a gas station—it’d be cheaper and less frustrating.
Hopefully, McDonald’s corporate steps in to address these ridiculous upcharges and improve the...
