We were told it’d only be 10 minutes until we got our order, but it was 20. I understand it was 6 pm on a Saturday night, but My sleeping baby was fine in the car with my husband, until about 15 minutes after we ordered, and she was just screaming. Definitely would’ve gone somewhere with faster service if I had known it’d take 20 minutes. We ordered two 2-meat plates (both with Mac and cheese and fries), a separate side of pork (1/4 pound), and a separate Mac and cheese side. We didn’t check our order once I brought it to the car, because my baby was screaming and just ready to go, so we hurried home. We Got home 15 minutes later and saw that one side order of fries was completely missing! Super bummed, as we planned to share our sides of fries with our toddlers. So 4 of us to shared only 1 side of fries (versus the 2 we were supposed to have). I wish they would’ve asked us if we preferred dark or white meat for our chicken; a couple that ordered shortly after me was given the option to choose. You guys should offer fry sauce! We love fry sauce. The thicker bbq sauce was way too spicy, which some people may like, but not me. The food was too greasy. The flavor of the pork was yummy, but brisket was bland. Chicken was alright. Fries and Mac and cheese were delicious. We used a buy one get one free on our Wasatch Savings card, which was awesome to have!

We had the absolute worst restaurant experience we have ever had at Pat's BBQ. I have never in my life sent food back and asked for a refund. Ever. Tonight we did and I would never be back. When we arrived, we ordered. While ordering, we were informed the prices had changed and the brisket was a $2.25 up-charge, instead of a $1 listed up-charge. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. While we were waiting, there was weird drama with the staff. Staff were scoffing at one another and one even said "you've got to watch your attitude bro" very loudly. The man cooking was very agitated and very clearly on drugs. I have never seen anything like that. One of the other workers had just come out of the bathroom and had VERY clearly just ingested more drugs - he looked very suspicious and his eyes were massive, so wide and going side to side at a rapid pace. We received our food and it was stone cold. It had a really strange smell. The jambalaya, which was an upcharge, was disgusting. Honestly it was disgusting. Please see the photo of the burnt, disgusting piece in mine. We luckily received a refund of $42 but this place needs to close. I have never said that in my life, but this restaurant was scary. Do not go here.

Was randomly talking about good BBQ eaten over the years then we pass this place while running errands. Got hungry later and drove 15 minutes back the other direction to find the place again. Atmosphere is a mix of old mom and pop with new age pay methods with tip calculator at the till before you even see how the service is going to be. The staff seemed nice enough. But the way they imply that menu items come with sides makes you think that they are included with the price of the meal. Like the brisket sandwich comes with 4 sides, so I pick 4. Philly comes with 1, so I pick 1. Then I look at my bill after getting our food and realize that I paid for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks, and 5 sides separately for a total of nearly $50 after tip. The sandwiches were excellent, the sides were great other than the runny half warm Mac and cheese. The brisket sandwich was not what my girl expected so I ended up getting her the pulled pork which she loved. So I'll still come back and order with more clarification on the meal options and they still get 5 Stars. I won't dock them for our ignorance, but still, don't say a meal comes with something then charge for it.

We visited Pat's BBQ for the first time the other day. For years, we'd heard about how good it was, and the food definitely lived up to the hype. Service? Not so much. We visited at ~2:00 PM on a Saturday, and it took us a few minutes going back and forth between a couple of different servers to get seated. Our server, Angie, was energetic and personable, and obviously took pride in her work, especially when it came to explaining how the new menu worked and what was good. We decided on a couple of Philly's, I chose smoked turkey and hubby got brisket. The sandwiches were delicious, especially the pickles and Creole black beans. I particularly liked that the hoagie rolls were buttered and toasted, but hubby had to ask 3-4x for a side of ranch with his fries, and it took awhile to get our check because it had accidentally been charged to another table. To Angie's credit, she admitted she was having a bit of an off-day -- hey, I'd rather have someone be honest than act like they don't care. Lapses in service aside, we really enjoyed the food and would definitely visit Pat's BBQ again should the opportunity arise.

Food is fine. Do not order from food delivery. You won't get what you order. I was given a gift certificate for Doordash, so I thought I'd try something new. I was especially encouraged that this place had a doordash link right on the homepage, ensuring that they were familiar with the system. That was a mistake. I ordered the 3 meat combo with two sides and specified that if anything wasn't available, the order should be canceled. My order was not canceled, yet I did not get my ribs, which I paid extra for and one of my sides was replaced with cornbread. The cornbread is one thing, but the exchange of an item that cost extra for nothing is pretty brazenly corrupt. The food was fine, but this blatant disregard of my stated requests and explicit shortchanging of something I paid extra for is inexcusable. I've not been to the location. I don't think I will go. Even though it's less likely this kind of chicanery would take place in person, if they are always looking for chances to cheat their customers, I won't give them another opportunity.

My best friend and I decided it was time to go meet for lunch somewhere. We are doing the code red challenge and decided to eat the allowed types of foods on the list. We chose Pat's BBQ because they have an excellent Garden salad with your choice of meat topped onto it. The fresh salad whole cherry tomatoes, black olives, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, cucumbers were excellent. The lettuce was cut perfectly it was not bitter at all. They brought out their signature barbecue sauces and of course I have to try the hot BBQ sauce on my salad. It was excellent! I had unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The atmosphere was excellent. A little bit chilly, but with the weather the way it is it's not surprising it would be cold on the inside. We got to how about lunch and chat and still be socially distanced from other people. When we placed our order oh, we were also able to place an order to go for later. Right on cue they have brought out the lunch to go just as we were getting ready to leave.
