This was the absolute best airport experience after having a morning from hades. I work as a flight attendant and was trying to get to Atlanta on standby but was unable to get on multiple flights and upon ordering Kaisa made an effort to ask me how my day was going when I took the opportunity to voice my frustrations with being stuck. She was the kindest, most pleasant person I’ve encountered at the airport and told me how sorry she was. I told her I’m used to it by now, but it still isn’t fun when things don’t work in your favor. I asked if she recommended the pandan or pistachio latte and she said the pandan was her favorite and she drinks it regularly. I told her I would take that then, and she said she would make it the same way she does (with oat milk and cinnamon). After one sip, I was hooked. It was one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted, with a perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, Kaisa told me to come back if I wanted a refill; well I ended up having another two-hour wait and took her up on her offer, but also wanted to grab something to eat (which it was recommended to do the avocado toast on a jalapeño bagel by another employee). Kaisa insisted my drink be on her and was actually enthused and excited to make it for me. She even drew little hearts on my lid - sweetest thing ever! It is so rare to experience that type of friendliness and hospitality and I will be back just to interact with her again. Also, the bagel was delicious and the avocado was fresh....

I asked them to warp the sandwich in new warping. They covered the new warping on top of the old wrapping. It was still dripping and cheese and bread was cold. I had to throw it away. I wish I have taken the photo. But thank you for your respond to my review. I should have just gone to Jimmy John’s across. I normally don’t give negative review and would careless. But it is important to spread awareness to your workers about the long haul travelers. Last thing they want is a good decent meal while waiting for their...
Read moreEven when counting down minutes to closing (11pm), the service and quality doesn't suffer. I've connected through SLC and visited this terminal-end cafe a few times and the staff was always friendly and chatty to the customers in line. Combined with the excellent espresso options and quick service, it's a nice little treat for the cross-country and long haul folks looking for a nice pick-me-up or small meal while waiting for the next flight. Easy recommend if you're in the A-terminal.
