The Garden Grille & Bar — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

This was by far one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! The chef came up and talked to us a few times to check in which was great. It wasn’t in an intrusive way by any means it was nice. They gave us complimentary bread that was to die for to start. The menu had so many options that looked amazing that it was hard to choose. I got their garlic and herb chicken and it was the best chicken that I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with boursin cheese and multiple other condiments that made it delicious. The server was great and the chef came to check on us before we left. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, the whole experience was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone and I probably will do just that! Had a late dinner here with a friend who had a 4 hour layover at SLC international. We chose this for location and open hours. My friend got the grilled chicken with make potatoes and veggies. His chicken looked overcooked and the potatoes were very dry. I got the fruit and cheese plate which was massively underwhelming. Dry cubes of cheese and soggy raspberries accompanied by an out of place mound of shredded mozzarella from a bag no less. A huge pile of dried apricots. The bright spot was the fig jam. This place surprised me. I usually stay at the hotel, but this was the first time trying the restaurant downstairs. I had the same dish all week and it was consistent and good. The service was awesome for being under staffed. The first night I was concerned when I saw only one person, and figured I made a mistake. Natalie was amazing, and I don't think I ever had an empty glass or had to wait long to order. It was awesome having a good place to eat during a busy work trip that I could just walk down the hall...
