I want to start out by saying that the snow cones are great and most of the staff is wonderful. Me and my wife will be returning customers, but only in store. We will never use the drive thru after what we witnessed tonight (6/19 @ ~10:15pm).

Pulling into the parking lot we saw the line was wrapped all the way around the building so we decided to just go inside. While we waited for our snow cone, we watched the young man and woman working the drive thru and it became very obvious why the line was so long. The young man and woman working the drive thru were goofing around, talking to each other, or otherwise doing anything to get out of work. It only got worse the longer that we stood there and watched.

Early on in our observation we noticed that the young woman (the one who takes payment i.e. handles filthy cash and cards) was making snowballs using the shaved ice the young man was using for snow cones. She reached into the bucket with her bare hands as well without washing them from handling cash. If this is the sanitation standards expected of employees here, it's quite alarming. It's alarming regardless though that employees who lack such sanitation concerns are even working in the food industry. She would make snowballs and throw them at her other coworkers; all of whom were busy actually working and getting people their snow cones.

The young man worked at a snail's pace making snow cones. During the ~10 minutes we were watching as we waited for our snow cone, he completed three, maybe four snow cones. It has left a bad taste in our mouths having seen the way these employees behaved and we will be advising everybody we know to only go inside. Hopefully the lines inside aren't too long in the future or we'll just be making our own snow cones on the...

Worst experience with the staff I've ever had. In my family we call ourselfs Bratz when we treat ourselves. My husband made a joke saying we should call it Bahama Bratz because we order there all the time. Nothing negative just a conversation between my husband and I about us being bratz spoiling ourself to a nice snow. Then staff decided to make ugly jokes about it and proceeded to yell at me in the drive thru saying thanks for coming to Bahama Bratz while laughing at us being rude and disrespectful. I was about to drive away without my order but had already paid. It was the worst experience I've ever had anywhere. This was our go to place but after this experience we are probably going to find somewhere else.

Update I was contacted immediately and was apologized to by the owner and staff. The behavior that had happened was mentioned to the staff and corrected. Therefore changing...

Since moving here a year and a half ago, this has been my family's favorite place in town. The variety of treats is far beyond what we can find anywhere else and the prices beat going out for ice cream. More than anything, the staff has been among the nicest and most welcoming that I have come across. I have a large family (7 kids plus my wife and I), so going out is both expensive and is frequently met with frustrated wait staff/employees. This is NOT the case here at Bahama Bucks!

The manager has greeted us on a few occasions and always brought a great attitude and made sure that we were all happy with both the service and the quality. If there was even a hint of unsatisfaction (too light on the cream for instance), he ensured that we were taken care of with nothing but a smile!
