Long John Silver's — Restaurant in San Angelo

To the owner of this LJS and A&W, it's a horrible store. To my Dashers, decline any offer to this horrible establishment. Twice in a week I show up as a Dasher to deliver your food. Twice it was a nightmare. Tonight I show up and the doors were locked at 8:30pm, so I hit the drive thru, and nobody responded at the microphone. I pull up to the window and nobody responded to my horn honks. One employee saw me as he was mopping and ignored me, I signaled him to come to the window. He was rude and said they were short staffed. He was very rude and arrogant.

This restaurant is going to collapse without new management and employees. The parking lot is filled with giant pot-holes, the drive-thru is a nightmare with 20-30 minute wait times for 3 pieces of chicken.

The owner should be ashamed and get in there and fix his store. What a joke, the owner of this store has disgraced such good brands as Long John Silver's and A&W. This store will be closed down soon because the employee(s) are super rude and ignore the customers. What a nightmare of a restaurant.

Two cars behind me backed out of the drive-thru at 8:30 pm because nobody answered them at the speaker. The worst restaurant I have even been too, and I worked at LJS...

Had one car in front of me. Got here at about 4:50PM on a Saturday. Ordered popcorn shrimp, fish & shrimp platter, two freeze floats, a small root beer and a double cheeseburger with meat, cheese , ketchup and mayo. Firstly, tried to order at the machine in the drive through, was told to pull up to window, ordered there and waited.... and waited...... and waited.... they handed out the fish and shrimp platter and freeze floats. She then told us to pull forward. We again waited and waited. I finally got the cheese burger but she forgot the popcorn shrimp. We again waited a few more minutes and finally received it. Also, when I got my cheeseburger it was wrong I just didn’t want to wait any more. Rather than meat, cheese, ketchup and mayo I got everything on it including tomatoes and lettuce.

Our time in the drive thru with one car in front of us was 27 minutes. Yes, 27 minutes. They seem inefficient or untrained but waiting for 27 minutes for a few items seems crazy. Several people kept leaving behind us, and occupants that were in the car behind me got out and had a smoke break and still waited...

For many years, Long John's was a favorite of mine; however, I was disappointed this evening. Two of us shared and L1 platter (fish & shrimp) and ordered a side of clams... When it came, there were no clams, so that took a while to get the clams. I had previously asked for an extra plate, then had to ask again... Then we discovered that we did not get our shrimp either, so we had to go get that also, and wait some more... Then we discovered that we did not get any of those crispy things that are a trademark of LJS... Then, while we ate, there was loud hard rock music hurting my ears. All in all, it was not a pleasant experienct. The guys working there were pleasant enough, but they just did not pay attention to their job, and they did not keep the place clean or stocked with things like cup lids. This happened at the San Angelo LJS on May 17, 2015...
