151 Saloon — Restaurant in San Antonio

So I want to start off by saying it was a great place... great crowd, friendly bartenders, and good music. The reason for the one star - My husband and I went there this past weekend for a coworkers party and thought “wow, it’s right by the house! We need to come more often!” That being said, our night was cut short when I went to the bathroom and my husband was waiting for me. There was a long line for the men’s bathroom and some guy bumped into me and attempted to hit on me... he was swaying back and forth like he’d had too much to drink (not too sure if this had any relation to what happened immediately right after I blew the guy off) A security guard walked up to my husband and said it was time for him to close his tab (we couldn’t hear right away bc the music was obviously too loud) and without reason, he followed us to our table and told him again. My husband didn’t argue he went and closed his tab and then the security guard literally went to go split up a fight and immediately went back to us and said it was time for him to leave. When we asked why he stated that my husband was “walking funny” not that 1. He was making a scene/fighting 2. Falling over - or 3. Puking his guts out. Just that he was “walking funny” My husband had had 3 beers in the 4 hours we had been there. He was NOT drunk. We even tried to show our itemized receipt but guy wouldn’t budge and it was not even worth it. Picked up our party and left to another place but was super disappointed. I have no idea what was really that guys problem but it’s a shame bc it would have been a great place to go out to when we have a sitter on the weekends. Definitely, a first, ever being kicked out of a bar. Don’t know if it was the guy that I blew off and maybe was a regular or a friend of the security guard ( not that I’m all about myself, it just literally made no sense) or maybe bc my husband had knee surgery about a year ago???? I was robbed by the bathroom attendant. We reported it to the management over the phone that same night, and the owner called on Monday. He was very rude and accussed me of lying. He said he could not take my word since I had bern drinking. I explained the situation of his bathroom attendant cutting off a ribbon (a money garter given to me by a friend) without my permission. While he did this he stole the money, approximately $56, as well. The owner told me he reviewed the tape and saw that I returned to the bathroom after my wife noticed the money was missing but he could not make any decisions based on what I told him!! He said the customer is not always right when it comes to his business. We have celebrated many birthdays and have been going there for years!! We will not return. The owner has yet to call with his explanation of what he is going to do! I called today and he was not at the bar. This establishment took off my negative post on Facebook also. I have contacted the police however, they say it fallls back on the business owner, its not worth the hassle. I hope people read this and stop supporting a business that doesn't care about...
