This food truck has been open for about a year now, and I’ve been tempted to stop on more than one occasion. The night I finally stopped, they were all sold out of beef shawarma, so I opted for the chicken shawarma sandwich/wrap. OMG, the chicken was OUT of this world! It was neatly wrapped in a markouk wrap, stuffed with plenty of moist, flavorful chicken shawarma, tomatoes, lettuce, and topped with an AWESOME, creamy garlic dressing ($6.50). It took about 15 minutes to prepare my food but that just means it's fresh. The wrap, the chicken, and all the veggies were fresh. The dude that runs this truck is a monster! I don’t know how he does it, but he’s open from 11am to 2am Sunday through Thursday, and 11am to *4am* Friday and Saturday. I saw the hours and couldn’t believe my eyes. I asked him to confirm it and he did. ALL of your late night dreams have been answered my friends. Never underestimate a food truck parked in a gas station parking lot.

First off let me say, I use to live in Los Angeles and had plenty of Mediterranean food out there. I never thought I'd find this food in San Antonio! But low and behold this little food truck drove straight into my heart! I am lucky to say my Girlfriend found this great place to try on a whim! I have to tell you guys I am IMPRESSED! She got the Beef Kabob Sandwich which she said was absolutely fantastic! I myself got a beef shawarma With Fries (Arabi with fries) Not sure what Arabi means but they cut the sandwich for you! Great if you are trying not to get juicy beef sauce all over you! Seriously the meat was so flavorful and the garlic sauce was PERFECT! Not much of a food truck guy but this place has changed my mind! Will definitely come back for more!

Worst place ever. The workers here are always rude. Today, I went to get a shawarma and a soft drink. I paid for the drink, and the money was deducted from my card. When I told the worker that they hadn’t charged me for the water, he immediately canceled the transaction and added the water—but then he tried to charge me again for the drink. I explained that I had already been charged for the drink and that the money was taken from my card. He refused to acknowledge this and said I would have to pay again or he wouldn’t give me my drink or the water. This worker is always rude to most customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have also attached a photo as proof that the money for the drink was taken from my card.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at the Abu Omer Halal Food Truck, as the unacceptably long wait time and unfriendly service left me deeply disappointed. It's disheartening when a highly anticipated food truck fails to live up to expectations.

Arriving at the Abu Omer Halal Food Truck, I was excited to try their offerings. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into frustration as I found myself waiting for an unreasonably long period of time. Food trucks are known for their quick service, but unfortunately, Abu Omer Halal Food Truck fell short in this regard. The excessive wait time not only tested my patience but also left me questioning the efficiency and organization of their operations.

Adding to the disappointment was the unfriendly and unwelcoming service I encountered. The staff at the food truck seemed disinterested and unengaged with the customers. Their lack of friendliness and basic customer service skills only exacerbated the negative experience. It is essential for food trucks to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for their customers, but unfortunately, this was sorely lacking at Abu Omer Halal Food Truck.

Regrettably, due to the prolonged wait time and the overall unwelcoming service, I was unable to try the food from Abu Omer Halal Food Truck. It is disheartening when a long-anticipated culinary experience turns out to be such a letdown.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Abu Omer Halal Food Truck to others. The unacceptably long wait time and unfriendly service make for an unsatisfactory dining experience. I hope that the owners of Abu Omer Halal Food Truck take this feedback into consideration and strive to improve their wait times and customer service in order to provide a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience for their customers.

In conclusion, my visit to Abu Omer Halal Food Truck was marked by an unacceptably long wait time and unfriendly service. As a result, I was unable to try the food and left deeply disappointed. I encourage potential customers to explore other food truck options in the area that prioritize efficiency, customer service, and a more positive...

I came for the beef shawerma but they only had chicken. It's a food truck I get that, no deductions there. That being said it was the best I halal 've had from a truck, and better than most restaurants. The presentation was also top notch with everything separated beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the lid. Onions, black olives, lettuce, tomato, picked jalapenos, and corn as sides.

Chicken was well cooked, all of the sides were great, but the rice could have been just a step better. It was really good, not great. But great for the price and from coming from a truck. Generous portion I'll be finishing for lunch tomorrow.

Business clearly gets a lot of return customers, both people in front of me held conversations with guy at window. You can tell they are there often.

I wish I would have also seen a side of falafel (2pc) as an option. I never want it as a main course but I'm sure it would have been fantastic there based on everything else I had.

If I went again I would also be interested in trying the grape leaves, sometime a lot of restaurants even mess up somehow. It would have been a great appetizer for a...

I used to visit this place very often few years back and that time food quality was very good and specially person behind inside the truck always had smile and very generous with customers. I visited this place again after few years but this time my experience was very bad. Person not interested in serving you and very rude. I ask to cut my shwarma into pieces and he rudely said we don't do that and if I want that way then I have to pay extra $2 for box, I ask him why he is charging me for box I dont want your branded box and I ask him to give me however he wants and let me go as he is looking too pissed off for no reason and that looking at his face I felt Insulted. He told me he don't want to serve me and don't come again and he returned my money. Really I can't believe this is the way they started making money from customer. No wonder why I saw empty parking lot which use to be full before when I use to visit this place. They don't need customer I think, they want to make money by selling boxes unnecessarily to customers. Will never visit...
