It was really good! Loved the chicken & waffles topped w/a sunny side egg & the fish & chips were outstanding! 2nd were the egg rolls according to my 11 yr old son! Then it would be a tired 2nd w/the mini boolgolgi tacos. Next, the beef boolgolgi bowls. Just wish there was a dessert truck out there. Went looking for a new place to try (kid friendly w/outdoor games) & where mom & dad can have a nice cold alcohol beverage & we found it. Only downside....tan, tan, tan...horrible for parking. Luck of the draw. 2 very small parking areas & if your lucky, several spots in the street in front of the place. We really enjoyed the outdoors. Pet friendly too! We will definitely be back soon!

I was just there with my kids I’ve been there since the dollar taco has been there and chicken, they recently put a sign to not allow outside food trucks from within (the sign I didn’t even see it ) circle “Mario” the manager came to my family 2 adults and 2 kids very rudely and asked us to leave, we were completely oblivious to the sign in the front and then in Spanish he went and told some teenagers they could stay I walked up to him and in Spanish explained my family did not know and we would’ve bought food had we known and his exclusion of allowing the 4 young adults with outside food was very unprofessional. I used to love to eat here never again

We stopped in early on a Saturday afternoon and even though it seemed busy there was plenty of seating. The bar was attended by two very friendly bartenders. We ate at the bulgogi boys food truck but it was really hard to choose, all of the food looked and smelled amazing. I'm excited to go back to try the fried chicken place. The Korean street tacos were so good that my boyfriend and I have talked about them no less than ten times since we at there three days ago. They are flavorful and the tortillas were the literal best corn tortillas I've ever had. Incredible.

I’m new to SA, I found out about The Block and invited my family out to it, (total of 7 people). We got there and everyone ordered from the food trucks but my bf and I. We ordered from the food truck right outside the patio area thinking that they were all a part of the “the BLOCK”, especially seeing that the space is very small. As I was bringing my food back to the patio to eat with my family, I saw a sign saying to ‘not bring in any outside food next to the gas station’. That’s when I realized that they aren’t working together. So my bf waits at the gate with the food while I try to get the keys from my mother-in-law with a coke in my hand, as I’m walking towards her the worker is walking towards me and starts pointing at the sign and not letting me in. I say ‘ I know I’m sorry, I just saw the sign. I thought these food trucks all worked together. I’m just getting the keys from my mother-in-law. I’m sorry, I’m the one that brought them here”. My mother-in-law asks him if it’s okay that we eat here since everyone else was ordering food. He then gives her attitude. She walks away he then starts to rant and give me attitude about why my bf and I can’t be eating there. I already said “I just saw the sign, I thought you guys worked together, ‘IM SORRY’, and I’m just going to get the keys from my mother-in-law so I can eat in the truck because we all came together.” Then he says, with attitude, that he’s going to do something about that sign and he’ll let me eat there. I told him it’s okay, I didn’t want to go against his rules, which I wasn’t going to. But this review is because of his attitude towards me and my mother-in-law, it was definitely uncalled for, especially that I was fine with obligating to the rules, He literally lost 7 customers (potentially more). And my family and I are HUGE on supporting local businesses. A little bit of kindness...

I've been here a few times, but last night my experience was not excellent. I was meeting a friend and we were both bringing our dogs for a little socialization as dogs are allowed here. I unfortunately forgot my doggy bags and knew they had a stand right by the entrance with doggy bags and was annoyed to find that all 3 slots were empty! Okay, no big deal. Then we find a nice place to sit down and chat and we had a good time for about 10 minutes until a family with two dogs arrived and sat at the table near us. They decided to tie up one of their dogs to a tree rather than watch him, and this dog barked non-stop for two hours straight. Our dogs began to get agitated by this, but the family ignored the dog the whole time. Staff was non-existent and I had hoped they would come by and say they needed to not tie their dog to a tree and allow the dog to continue barking non-stop. This family didn't seem to care and I developed a serious migraine. When it finally came time to leave, I searched for a recycle bin to toss my can into and was shocked to discover there were no recycle bins anywhere around! Now I understand this is supposed to be a place family's, students, etc. can come out and relax and have a good time, but I was not able to have a good time due to this obnoxious dog and its family who ignored the poor dog. Staff should have done something about this as it was extremely disruptive to everyone there. No other dogs were misbehaving, and I don't blame the dog in this case, I blame the negligent family. Staff should have said something to the family of this dog to let them know they shouldn't be tying their dog to a tree, a tree that was more than 5 feet from their table. I doubt I will be...

Horrible service and place. My husband & I stopped by to grab something to eat here, it was our first and definitely our last! I ordered my food from a truck close to the bar area my husband walked to the food truck outside the gate, we thought that was one of their trucks advertising from the street that they're back there (since they sit behind the store) so my husband got his from there, when he came in to sit with me some short little man from the bar came out and rudely asked my husband what's in your bag!?! My husband replied food from one of your trucks, his reply was I guess you didn't read the sign when you walked in! You can throw your food or we can hold it for you till you leave! My husband and I couldn't believe his tone and the way we were approached embarrassing us in front of other people that way, it gets worse.. as we are gathering our things to leave after being treated this way he continues to walk behind us, he and my husband still exchanging words when my husband tells him he'll make sure to let people know how we were treated he tells my husband F$&! you! And is flipping us off ! Never going back! This kind of behavior might be acceptable to college or younger crowds but definitely not for us!!! Definitely NOT kid friendly, mind you kids were present when he was using foul language and...
