If you visit their website, as I did, you will notice that they have a special that says "Delivery=Free Cheesecake." However, what you don't see, unless you read the tiny print at the bottom of the screen or when you receive the email, is that the order is going through Bon Appétit Delivery. Apparently the Delivery company sends the order to the restaurant and the restaurant can't see what was originally ordered. We received some of our order, but no cheesecake, as advertised, and no soup, which was ordered. Call the restaurant and put the phone on the counter and never come back on the line, after waiting 10 min and trying to get their attention, hung up. Ate the food received and called the restaurant back. The restaurant can't pull up anything about the order, we have to call the delivery company and have them adjust the order or resend it to the restaurant. At this point, it is just annoying that the restaurant you order food from cannot view the order placed and that you have to call another company for a $4 item. Call Bon Appétit Delivery and tell them the situation, and say they will call back. They did call back and refunded the amount of the soup and offered to have it redelivered. It was almost 9pm, and stated the refund would work, they offered more of a refund than was needed. The cheesecake was not mentioned due to the time. I had to edit this post because we had not received the call at the time of the post. The soup and cheesecake got delivered after the phone call with Bon Appétit Delivery, which was not expected. Read moreCalled and placed an order for delivery last night, my husband was checking out the new web site and was going to order from it (looks really nice and easy to use) but I like to call it in. I have been ordering for delivery since they opened a couple of years ago but I have actually never been to the restaurant itself, and don't let the recent name change on here confuse you because it is the same (I'm assuming the slight name change because of a place with a very similar name and all the new delivery businesses) The food has always been consistently good and only once did I ever have an issue with delivery and it was my bad because I ordered wrong but after I called the owner got the rest of the food to me quickly, he's very nice.
I have had quite a few things from the menu, last night I ordered the twice cooked pork and it was so good, big pieces of tender pork and lots of pork, they don't scrimp on anything and the portions are always enough for 2 meals, and it tastes so good you do want to eat it all. Read moreOrdered through uber eats app. apparently the restaurant uses their own delivery drivers and NOT uber eats so I couldnt even track my order. After waiting nearly 2 hours and still no delivery, I called the restaurant to see where the order was at (per uber app instructions), the guy on the phone said it was a long drive to my place but it would be there soon. I was a little confused considering the restaurant is 10 min away but I took his word that "it was on the way". When the delivery driver showed up to my door, he was very rude DEMANDING "gas money tip". I apologized and explained to him that I didnt have any cash but if I could I would send one through the app I ordered with. He got angry and started going into detail on what I ordered by pointing out the receipt. I explained and apologized again that I didnt have any cash and that I planned to tip through the app. He wanted to keep arguing about it and I was forced to be rude and shut my door.
