Parking is somewhat hard to get as the restaurant is always packed but once getting in you see that the menu prices are cheap and affordable. Prices I haven’t seen since before Covid. I had gotten the enchilada special that comes with 2 enchiladas, rice, and beans. To top it off I added two bean and cheese with bacon and to be honest with you; when eating the bean and rice the beans came out delicious but the rice was slightly bland and when eating the enchiladas they were amazing especially the gravy added on top was just chef kiss on flavoring. Now the fajita that came with was in my opinion bland with slight flavoring. When getting to the bean and cheese I will say that it was tasty the tortilla didn’t taste like plastic and was not store bought either as it was homemade and the bacon was delicious, the flavoring just melts on your mouth and the tacos were bigger than the average taco. All in all I rate my dining experience a 6, just because it felt to cramped inside and I had to scoot every now and then just so the waiters can get by. The food I rate it 7.5 as both the rice and fajita weren’t up to par. Now the affordability is amazing here and rate it as a 8.5 as you can’t find most places in San Antonio that can beat those prices. I should also mention I came with my father and he had gotten one carne guisada and one sausage and egg tacos, with a sweet tea and coffee and it only came out to $28 which for how much I got, it’s a steal. Never the less I recommend you try this little Mexican cafe out of your looking for affordable prices and decent food. Eating...
Read moreFirst of all there's no place to park! Second... if you find a place to park it is a block long down the street on each side. Third problem is you have to stand up while waiting to get into this place and it's so damn small... like all small restaurants in the south side the owners squander their money and they never moved to a larger facility. I have known this place since it has opened I only remember eating there once probably when it did open now that it came out in the news my girlfriend wanted to go, my dad and my sister after a graduation ceremony. Well we had to go to another restaurant because we were not going to wait out in the sun while the place trickles down just to have a seat... why stay open after you have come out on the news if you cannot handle the freaking crowd of patrons that want to eat there! Then you either stay open longer or find a larger restaurant to do your business Angie! Total ridiculous and...

Food I've eaten: carne asada, fajitas, pork chop, carne guisada, bean and cheese and the caldo de Res. All of them are a 5 outta 5!
I love this place. It's hard sometimes to find a table since it's a small place.. but waiting for a table to be available is worth the wait.. their tacos are always big and full!!! Like no skimpy small tacos here! Lol I love their carne asada with onions, green peppers and guacamole, also their pork chop tacos are great! This is definitely a good place to go eat. The prices are also good not...
