Camila's Mexican Restaurant - Lookout Road — Restaurant in San Antonio

We order breakfast tacos almost every Sunday or Monday… my dad is usually the one who places the order. At times some tacos are missing but no biggie we call and they fix it or we go back again to pick up the missing ones… this last week on Sunday, 2 of our fajita tacos were missing.. upon calling the lady told my dad we could either get a credit or a refund for the missing tacos. We decided to receive the credit since like I said my dad knew he’d probably just order the next day.. which he did! He ordered breakfast tacos and asked if he could use his credit, immediately one of the ladies said with an attitude “well you can’t do that, it has to be the same tacos or refunded” .. mind you this was not explained the day before when we had called.. finally they decided it was fine to give my dad credit (which btw his order was cheaper than the fajita tacos). The issue is, my dad called twice again today to place an order and no answer… so my mom and I called thinking maybe it was a cellular issue, but no… our calls went through and they answered right away…. It was obvious my dad’s number has been blocked I guess. I know maybe for them this review is “whatever” but mind you we were never rude nor disrespectful, even when they would mess up our order…we work in restaurants as well and understand accidents happen.. never ordering from here again, very unprofessional workers...

The lady at the register was Not Very Friendly and the Food was Awful. As you can see the Beans were very Dry and the Rice was so dry you could not even swallow them. The Chalupas were Not Fresh at all. My sister and I told the waitress it was awful and I we were charged for the tomatoes on the side as well. The Chalupa Plates already come with Lettuce and Tomatoes on the Dinner Plate normally and asked if we could replace Lettuce with the Onions and was Charged for both the Onions and Tomatoes for Both Plates. We did not want to cause a scene being there were other customers in there. Called the next morning and the woman who was there the night before at the register said she remembered us and was told they would NOT reimburse Our Cash nor will they Offer a Dinner in place of our Meal. We have the Receipt for proof. Asked her to have the General Manager call and they NEVER called back in response. We really did not want our food replaced, We wanted our money back for both the Chalupa Plates and 2 Sodas which amounted to 30 dollars Plus 🤦‍♂️ We will Not be back to Camilas if they continue to treat their customers with Disrespect and Not serve decent food to...

Ate here for the first time, and then twice in 1 week because I wanted to try a few items. First time I had the Mexican plate, which included 2 cheese enchiladas, a puffy taco, tamale, rice & beans.

The puffy taco was really good, the enchilada was kinda average, cheese was a bit chewy, tamale was decent, not the worst, but also covered with enchilada sauce. Rice and beans were decent. I think I enjoyed the puffy taco the most.

The 2nd trip, I had the puerco chile colorado. It was good, but it varied piece by piece, some with good flavor, some bland, some tender, some dry.. I would have preferred more sauce on it.

Both times, the service was good, and the chips and salsa came out right away. The waitress came by regularly, prices were decent, and plates had large portions. Individual taco prices were fair as well.

I'll be back, as the menu has a wide variety of items, and everything so far has been better than average. The food doesn't disappoint, and I saw some sizzling fajitas come out that looked and...
