High reviews so I needed to stop in to check it out. I’m not sure if I agree with the 4.8 āļø review. I think it’s a solid 3.5. Service…fantastic. But it’s really confusing where the line is to order. There’s a wall when you walk into the restaurant and you go to either side. The left side is where you order. Menu is decent for choices. There are spicy, plain, bbq, etc. so anyone could find something to try. Cheese options, side options and different soups and sandwiches. I opted for the Trio. I wanted to try as many things as possible. I do believe the price point is ok for how much you get (prices everywhere are super high). Drinks are an extra fee. I opted for the free water. I tried Kickin Kay Lynne on toasted wheat bread. I liked it the best out of the 3 I had. Definitely get your bread toasted. Also came with lettuce and tomatoes. Bacon would have been extra so I skipped it. Barbie-Q….you definitely need to like BBQ sauce to get this one. It was strong on the BBQ sauce flavor. Dixie Chick…has the onion in it and boy did it have onion flavor. My best way to describe the flavor choices…you have to like what it says it has in there a lot! I.E. the Buffalo one (which my friend got) tasted just like red hots Buffalo sauce. I loved the sugar cookie they gave with the meal. They do offer a military discount (10%) so I appreciate that and they DON’T flip the screen around for you to have to leave a tip. But I did not see a tip jar out. I’m assuming management must pay minimum wage or more here? Ordering the trio gave me enough to have leftovers for lunch today. Leftovers were a bit soggy. I don’t know if I’d be running back here to try more things. It was ok if you want to try it out, but I make a pretty good chicken salad from scratch at home, so for the price, I’d do it myself next time. Definitely check it out, but don’t expect to be overwhelmed with how good it is based on the reviews. Also, they closed at 8pm…so plan accordingly!

I tried Chicken Salad Chick for the first time and was so impressed. The chicken salad was fresh and flavorful! I’m now obsessed with the grape salad and need more. I suggest ordering the trio so you can sample different items: I recommend the Kickin’ Kay Lynne if you a bit of spice. I also got Olivia’s Old South for a more savory taste, and yum! The grape salad was the big winner-it’s tossed in a cream cheese mixture with brown sugar and pecans. It’s a sweet treat that you can pretend is healthy. My meal also came with crackers and a small buttercream cookie that was a perfect finishing touch. This was under $10 so it was a deal. Also to those obsessed with Diet Coke like I am: they serve Coke products! All you can drink! Plus sweet tea, watermelon tea, lemonade and strawberry lemonade. For the folks who prefer no flavor, there’s unsweetened tea as well. The inside was welcoming and I loved the decor. Tables are covered with cute tablecloths so you feel like you’re having a picnic. I appreciated all the bright colors. Perfect for Instagram pics. I need to return to try more chicken salad flavors (there’s many more!) plus I must have grape salad. Everyone was also polite as well. It’s always nice when you’re greeted with a smile and not a frown. I’m assuming the workers get all the grape salad they want, which would make me smile too.

ordered 2 Turkey club croissant sandwiches and 2 cups of loaded potato soup. door dash delivered 1 of each. called restaurant and restaurant said call door dash. door dash only offered a refund of $7.08 when my missing order was approx $13.50. my problem with chicken salad chick is they could have offered me a full store credit or physically come in to rectify the situation, since more than likely they made the mistake. if the ā€œrecourseā€ is all on door dash, then chicken salad chick could do this to customers and profit from it. im not here to just give money away. mistakes like that add up as a profit for the restaurants and a loss of money for the customers. i won’t do business with chicken salad chick nor door dash any longer. i feel both business’ policy leaves the consumer loosing money while both of these businesses profited. i’ve had part of my order missing before at other restaurants and was only required to physically come to the store to rectify my order. an inconvenience but at least I was not losing out on any money. so just a heads up to the consumer. know the business’s policy incase of error in your order. door dash isn’t offering full refunds either.

I usually stop by Chicken Salad Chick around 7 to 9 times a month, so I’m a pretty regular customer. The restaurant is always clean, and that’s something I’ve appreciated. However, the service has consistently been underwhelming—most of the employees come across as uninterested, unfriendly, and at times, even a bit rude.

Today, though, was the final straw and will likely be my last visit.

As I walked up to the counter, Sophia and another employee were standing nearby. Instead of greeting me or acknowledging I was there, she walked right past me to the opposite side of the counter and stood silently at the register. I had to say ā€œhelloā€ just to get her attention. Her response was minimal, her attitude was cold, and the interaction overall was one of the rudest I’ve experienced.

This isn’t just about one employee—it feels like a cultural issue at this location. With the exception of maybe one staff member who’s been friendly in the past, most seem indifferent at best. That makes a big difference, especially when you’re paying $15 for some chicken salad. It’s starting to feel less inviting where I’m paying to be treated poorly—almost like I walked into Dick’s Last Resort by mistake.

Today just pushed me over the edge. I won’t be returning. It might be time for someone to step in and retrain the staff, because this level of customer service is...
