05/19/2025 updates: no action has been taken from police or hotel to this date to improve the situation of stealing tools from trucks. You watch: if somebody gets close to you while you are parking; they are just looking at what you have and they are working in combination with the bad guys; and the golf cart guy going around-that is just paint in the wall. You deter by placing physical barriers to entry. Put a gate and control bad guys from entering. BUYERS BEWARE!! TOOLS STOLEN FROM OUR TRUCK! I have a good thing and an unfortunate thing to say about this Hotel. As a platinum member, I loved this hotel until the misfortune hit us. The misfortune: on the night of 11/19/2024 my husband who has been a handyman for 40 years had his truck (Milwaukee handyman tools) STOLEN, a total of $4000 worth of tools in one night. Please, please LEAVE YOUR CAMERAS TURNED ON your car all night on this Hotel. We filed a police report, but on the same night the bad guys tried to get into a SECOND vehicle. On a positive note, I want to THANK the Supervisor in charge Miss April for allowing us to park in front of the hotel during our second night. My suggestion for other customers is DO NOT PARK ON THE BACK OR SIDES OF THE HOTEL, park as close as possible to the lobby, and leave YOUR DASH CAMERA ON YOUR CAR ON all night if you park here. TRUCK OWNERS: INSTALL A SECOND REAR CAMERA POINTING TO YOUR TRUCK BED. It appears that the bad guys hide ON THE SIDE of the hotel until they find a victim. I sincerely hope that the hotel can find a way to control this situation and not to scare their customers away. A note for the IHG Corporate Management: I am also concerned for both the safety of your customers and employees, so please have more lights installed, cut some of the branches for more visibility. There are NO CAMERAS in the parking lot to protect the customers and employees. Can you install cameras and lights like the Lowes and the Home Depot? The security guard rounds during the night IS NOT WORKING as intended, tools and belongings are still being STOLEN. I also found a review from 1 month ago pertaining the security, and they said that HE WAS ON THE PHONE A LOT ( I have the attached picture). My experience was that last night at midnight I looked from the hotel window to check on our truck and I saw the security guard doing his rounds and then all of the sudden he turned off the golf cart. Now why would you do that if you are on your shift? See my second picture of the Parking lot: poor light, overgrown tree branches, hotel windows very dusty and hard to check on your vehicle during the night- need IHG Corporate Management support please...

From the moment we arrived at the Holiday Inn San Antonio - SeaWorld, it was clear we had made the right choice for our trip. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, just a short drive from SeaWorld, and offers easy access to nearby attractions, shopping, and dining.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming us with smiles and offering helpful tips for our stay. The lobby was clean and inviting, and the modern decor set a pleasant tone for our visit.
Our room exceeded expectations. Spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, it had all the comforts of home, including a super comfy bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a spacious bathroom with excellent water pressure. The view from our room was lovely, overlooking the well-maintained pool area.
Speaking of the pool, it was an absolute highlight! The outdoor pool area was fantastic, perfect for a relaxing swim after a day of adventure at SeaWorld. The hotel also has a hot tub and a fitness center, which were both great additions.
Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. Whether you’re craving pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit, or yogurt, the spread had it all. The breakfast staff was also friendly and quick to ensure everything was stocked and clean.
What really stood out during our stay was the attention to detail from the staff. Every interaction was positive, and it felt as though they genuinely wanted to ensure we had the best experience possible. Whether it was helping with directions, offering suggestions for local dining, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, they went above and beyond.
Overall, the Holiday Inn San Antonio - SeaWorld provides excellent value for money. It's clean, comfortable, and offers great amenities, especially for families. The proximity to SeaWorld makes it the perfect choice for those looking to explore the park and surrounding area. We’ll definitely be back!

Read moreI am a Diamond Elite Member, and have been for years. Recently, I needed to stay in San Antonio, Texas, and this property was "highly recommended." 1. This property has not been updated in years. I had to check three different rooms, before I found one that was clean, and even the room I stayed in was dirty: the carpets were dirty, and had not been cleaned in ages. My white socks turned black just from walking on the carpet. 2. The "guests" were nothing but unruly, unsightly "vacationers" whose children were poorly supervised. All night, children in the next room kept pounding the walls, as if they were throwing tennis balls or bowling balls up against the wall. I couldn't relax, rest or even sleep. It was horrible. 3. The phone in the room was broken, the HVAC didn't function properly and there was a smell of mold and mildew that I noticed as the night progressed. 4. The bathroom looked like something out of a horror movie set: the enamel on the bathtub and shower was chipped, and the "artwork" in the bathroom was an eye sore. 5. The restaurant was average, but the restaurant staff were top notch. They made you feel at home in what was one of the most uncomfortable seats in a restaurant I have experienced in a long time. 6. Management? What management. There was no management to speak with. I spoke to Front Desk clerks about the problems with those hotel, and all they could say was, "I am so sorry." Not one of them offered to comp me for the night or return my points, etc. Just, "I am so sorry." They weren't sorry. They didn't care. So, and as a result, I will no longer be staying at IHG Properties any longer. I will use up my points, but after that, I am going back to H or M. I figure that IHG will lose about $38K to $48K annually by me going...
