I was craving for Domino's Pizza &I was walking to Domino's around (7pm) with Umbrella in tow when a heavy rainstorm starts (bad weather). I arrive at the Domino's , I observe one individual standing on sidewalk by Domino's window. I go in order, pay with cash, observe (view)all employees in store. I go outside as I wait for my Pizza,I start conversation about the rain with the Guy standing on Domino's Sidewalk,In conversation I state I am from Arizona,he says he from San Antonio & tells me that he waited for a taxi & he going to Little Caesars, then he tell me he's going to walk.He ask how far it's up the hill. I tell him really close, it's about 10 minutes. I say to him, You from San Antonio,& You asking me? I say to him I know Phoenix good & I got to know S.A.streets good in three years, I say to him,Wow!! &You from S.A. & he says thanks &head up the hill towards Little Caesars. I am still standing outside when a Domino's employee drive up, back from a Delivery. He tells me if I am waiting for a order I have to be Inside. I go inside alongside him.The Pizza was not ready,So I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes more inside of Domino's.Because it was raining I had Domino's cover the box with a plastic bag to keep water from get in box& I thought it would be easier to tote with pizza in one hand & the Open Umbrella due to rain in the other hand. I was wrong the Pizza had went all the box, I had never tried this time of thin crust Pizza,Of course I order it, It just wasn't a pleasure Pizza day due to factor of It was not intact primary due to I had Pizza in one hand & Umbrella in the other hand walking during a heavy rain storm. After about a week I decided to stop in Domino's & hopefully have a conversation with General manager. I stop in &the Person I was talking to Was the General Manager. I gave the Manager a brief description about my Pizza,An detailed description about the rain night,My Name/# (due to factor)I didn't have receipt with me.I also knew the night I stop in there where Five Employees Working (1) Female (4) males. The Manager then asked me What I would like on the Pizza. I waited For about 20minutes and Walked out with a deep crust Pizza. The General Manager was very professional & talkative & Friendly to Customers.Located in same Plaza as Grace Calvary chapel & Culebra Meat by Hunt/Marback Lane. I worked in Retail Store Management,Loss Prevention,Bank Corporate Security, Hotel Security etc. Summary :The guy wait in front of store Knew S.A. He knew it was a little Ceasar ..up the hill.He said I'm going to walk, then heading up hill after he said he was waiting for cab. Heavy rain storms,Power Outage Occur,Traffic Slows,... Robbery (likely to occur).** A Domino's employee came back from delivery saw me standing in front of store sidewalk, told me that I had to wait in store because door be locked a 9:30 but It was about 8:20. He was headed inside with door open as he told me this,so as he Keep the door open for me the robber or me the customer I walked right In. If you're coming back from a delivery and a guy is outside of Domino's on Domino's Sidewalk, Leave him there,Go in store,Ask Co workers is he a customer, It's Yes or no, View Camera. If no you can open door from You standing inside &Ask them to leave property, Never Invite in who...
Read moreIt was OK but far from great. The employee were friendly and fast however, the pizza toppings are ridiculously skimpy. I worked at a domino's myself for almost a decade and it's only been a few years since I was employed by the company. I know for a fact that they are topping the cheese about 40% less than what is required by corporate. The beef and ham on our 3 topping pizzas was less than half of the portion that should be used on an extravaganzza. A few slices had no beef or no sausage at all while other slices only had 2-4 pieces of each meat. The onions weren't as under topped as the meats and cheese but were also less than what should have been placed on the pizzas. They need to use a scale and have charts above their make line if that don't already have them so they know the appropriate portions to use and can weigh them out or count them out as needed. I love domino's and strongly prefer it to other delivery stores but I'm honestly tired of feeling like I'm getting ripped off because the toppings are so skimpy.
Example One of our most recent orders included a large beef, ham, and onion pizza. It looked like they put about 4oz of cheese, 1oz-1.5oz of beef, about 12-14 slices of ham, and about 1oz of onion. All drastically under topped. I'm not asking for anything special or extra but I'd like to at least be able to rely on getting what...
Read moreSo where to start. The app worked fine when it came to ordering. I only ordered two pizzas but I expected to wait a bit considering the 50% off pizza coupon. Two hours later the driver could not find my place so I waved him down in the freezing rain and he eventually found his way over. The only problem was that when he tried to hand me the completely wrong order. Not only that but the pizza had pineapple all over it. My son is extremely allergic to pineapple. Realizing the whole thing was ruined, I stayed calm and told him to have the store call me. That didn’t happen so I called them. A lady that was probably having a bad day answered and gave me two options, wait another two hours for delivery or wait three days for my money back. No other option. I’m here in the store waiting to speak to the manager and he isn’t coming out. I have kids that are starving and was still charged for the delivery without any receipt for my order. To be fair, they remade the pizza and handed to me after driving in thirty degree rain. Good job Dominos. Paul was the General Manager that never came out, according to the...
