Taqueria El Charro De Jalisco — Restaurant in San Antonio

My family and I had dinner over here few days ago, I must say the Food was not bad at all and yes the place was cleaned. The problem I had was with the service when I got there, there where only 3 forks then during the remainder of the night as we where eating. I noticed I didn't have a fork ( What am I a Ghost). just because my wife was paying did not mean to go AHEAD and ignore me that is the way I felt. Even though my wife paid the money still came from me (her husband) and it is very Disrespectful. I actually walked up to my waitress as she was doing nothing accept talking with her Co-worker behind the front counter. I asked my waitress if I could speak to her manager because having all forks available on the table should've been on my table in the beginning and I shouldn't have had to go up to my waitress to ask for this it should've been done, and further more there was no one else there in the dining room so there is no excuse.

PERSONALLY this place doesn't even deserve one star. To everyone who reads my review I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ( UNLESS YOU WANT...

To be honest my husband loves this place and sometimes he even likes it more then my cooking. I won't argue I'm not the best at everything when it comes to cooking certain foods and eating here sometimes reminds me of being in my grandmas kitchen. The place has changed a bit over the last year and a half. The inside has spiffed up a little and the salsa for the chips is a little more stewed then the salsa you are given to put on your food or in the to go. I love the fact that thy make papas rancheros tacos, not every place does or they cost more to special order. I love the breakfast tacos but if you customize them it is best to double check. There's usually 1 or 2 cooks and maybe 2-3 ladies working either the window or inside and so orders can get a little moved around if someone isn't watching. If I know that I want something slightly off the menu I go inside an order, no loss in communication, other wise I order drive thru if we aren't eating there. They cook to order and it's worth the drive even after we moved about 15mins...

I order tacos regularly from here, but today I had an horrible experience. I always get the carne guisada, but the one I had today, first of all, did not taste fresh like it usually does. It taste like it had been sitting there for a while. The tortilla was a little hard. That’s not even the worst part. While I was eating it, I found two strands of hair in it. They were definitely not my hairs because I have dark black course hair and these hairs were a lighter brown. I called to inform the restaurant, but they told me to drive back with the taco to get a new one. I explained I have a baby and I wasnt going to drive all the way back over there from home in this cold weather just to pick up one new taco. The guy on the phone told me to save the taco and take it back tomorrow. I threw it out It’s not worth going through that hassle like I said for one taco and I lost...
