Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in San Antonio

Dear Dutch Bro family —fellow reviewers, This location used to be a sonic and it held many memories for me of my childhood with my family. That being said it was very said to see it close and left dark and forgotten. When they first started building this Dutch Bros I had never heard of it and I mostly was a slave to start bucks but didn’t go there much due to not being big fan of theirs. Management team is amazing Laura and Lexie, and their team is always wonderful/friendly/thoughtful/kind/ and everything beautiful in between. I practically go here every morning when I am on my way to work or on my days off. My day doesn’t really start without seeing them in the morning and that may be the caffeine addiction talking but I do enjoy seeing each and every one of them. I would just like to remind those that as in every field there can be long lines or wait times or sometimes life happens and it may take a minute to get your drink. But I know they work really hard and especially in the morning when lots of people are coming to get their coffee at the same time. I did not order from Dutch Bros coffee but my sister's husband, JP, he would order me a hot chocolate sometimes when I was in the he was driving me to places. Which is really nice, anyways, the hot chocolate that Dutch Bros coffee serves is really perfectly made hot chocolate, it is really good. I don't know if they serve other things than just coffee and hot chocolate. I know that JP orders coffee from them and he says Dutch Bros coffee serves the best coffee but I do know that Dutch Bros serves the best hot chocolate. But I do wonder if Dutch Bros coffee serves a white chocolate version of their hot chocolate, a dark chocolate version of their hot chocolate, a chocolate and caramel version of their hot chocolate, and a mint chocolate version of their hot chocolate. Maybe they would serve them on Christmas or in the winter months as a promotion. Maybe there is a experimental version like an Oreo hot chocolate or Reese's peanut butter cup hot chocolate or cinnamon gram crackers mixed into hot chocolate version. Who knows but it does...

I didn't rate the food or atmosphere on my visit to the Nacadoches Dutch Bros on Friday March 29th at about 11:45 am, because I never got that far. I have been a Dutch Bros fan-boy for years, since my first experience with them in Idaho over a decade ago. I have been to this location before too, and enjoyed terrific service (as usual). I don't use drive-through lanes (it's complicated), and always go to the walk-up window. I stood at the walk-up window for about five minutes (the window was closed which is not unusual if nobody's there -- keeps the insects out). Nobody acknowledged me standing there as they were moving around inside; it's not uncommon for staff to give a hand wave, a "be right with you", or something similar if they have drive-through traffic. I get it; I'm not trying to jump the line and will wait my turn. But, if you ignore me, I will go away. And, I did.
