I got to try this place out for the first time, and I am so pleased. I wish there was one closer to us by Potranco and 211. I also had the privilege of talking to the owner and learned he is from Monterrey, which explains why I love their way of preparing the food so much since I have family from there. I've been to three or more similar places like this, but none make the tostilocos as good as theirs. I also loved their elote loco, and the option of getting white Mexican corn is what I look for at establishments like this. I also ordered fresas con crema tasted exactly like I like them. The servings are very generous and the prices are fair for now a days. The chilindrina did have a different twist than what I'm used to. They use beans instead of avocado, but it was just as yummy. My girls ordered the mango worm something ice cream, which was huge, one could not finish it. My girls love getting the brownie and ice cream. The coktel de camaron was the best I've ever tasted. The employees were very friendly. I wish people would put them selves in their shoes and work a day in their place to truly understand what they have to go thru. Yes, they are young, but they are at least working preparing a good snack. Maybe if our perspectives changed and saw things thru a different lens, we could enjoy the time with your family to sit and talk while you wait a while. I hope this business expands to my area because not many places offer this much variety. For now, I won't mind the drive. Read moreThe place has a weird smell to it. DO NOT USE THE RESTROOM HERE! The restroom has the foulest smell ever. You can smell it as you enter the hall and it really hits you when you get to the back area. It made me sick. I didn't want my order after using the bathroom here. Which didn't matter because my order was wrong. When I tried to claim my order, the manager jumped in and was extremely rude. She said my order was confusing so they gave me what they thought I wanted. I asked why she didn't ask me to clarify my order. I asked for a blue coconut shaved ice. They gave me a coconada. She said I ordered a flavor of shaved ice they don't have. She said to them, shaved ice is the ice cream. I asked why they didn't say anything to me about my order. She said that wasn't her problem. When I asked if she could just get me a blue coconut raspa so I could leave, she finally gave in but "forgot" to tell me the raspa is less expensive than what they gave me. I had to ask if I owed them any more money or if they owed me money. Needless to say, I will not be giving them any business in the future.
