El Paisano Mini Tacos — Restaurant in San Antonio

I have eaten here plenty of times. Sometimes I call it in or sometimes I go and order either way it has always been fast service. When you order in person; park your car and order at the windows and they give you a buzzer when food is ready and you can sit in your car and wait. I see many people sit in the bed of the trucks or on the top of the trunks of the cars. Honestly if your on a date it's nice to order and sit with your significant other and chill and talk. I usually get either the chicken quesadilla or the birria tacos. Those are my go to. They are very generous with their meat and the flavor is always fire!!! If you like hot sauces theirs are great some days hotter than others but...

El Paisano Mini Taco truck is simply incredible. From the first bite, you know you’re in for something special. Everything on the menu is fire, but the asada and pastor mini tacos are my go-to every single time. The meat is juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the balance of flavors is unmatched. It’s hard not to order another round after finishing them.

I got asada mini tacos, torta Cubano pastor, and quesa birria to split with my husband. After tasting each item, I no longer wanted to share. The meat was seasoned perfectly, the layers of flavors were well-balanced, and none of the ingredients were skimped on. As a bonus, everything somehow stayed hot until I got home -- a 30 minute drive -- due to how well the food was packaged for travel.
