I went for the first time and they took 40 minutes to give me my order. When I got there there was a guy in front of me, then 2 couples behind me. They told me it would be like 10 minutes which I was ok with, I see them give the person in front of me there order so I assume I would be next but I was wrong. The 2 couples behind me received their orders before me, and I noticed they also got tortas. I only ordered 1 torta, so I assumed maybe they got a different type of meat, something that would be faster. I overheard them talking about their torta and 1 of the couples got the same thing as me. I was annoyed at this point because there ordered after I did and received their order before me, at this point it had been the 10 minutes. There were 4 parties eating inside, including the 2 couples that ordered after me; everyone ate and left & I was still there waiting for my order. It took them 45 minutes to have my 1 torta ready, and they just said “sorry were had to wait for the bread to be ready” and giggled. I don’t understand why the people who ordered after I did, did not have to wait for “the bread to be ready” when they also got tortas with the same bread.
Edit: I got my receipt emailed so I was able to see the exact time when I placed my ordered, I was approached but only once, and I was told “it is almost out and thank you for your patience”. I was on my phone the whole time I was waiting so I kept checking the time. I’m someone who avoids conflict so all I said was “ok thank you” I was informed it would be 10 minute wait and I would have been ok if it wasn’t exactly 10 minutes but 40-45 minutes is way too long of...
Read moreDefinitely a hole in the wall, local restaurant vibe. We ordered the arepas, empanadas and plantain with cheese. Everything was good, but the empanada and arepa really stuck out as being exceptional. The food was fresh and hot. The green sauce served with the food was amazing. There are a lot of other things on their menu we are excited to try when we are a bit hungrier. Definitely recommend a try!
Please note, I think this restaurant may have recently changed owners. It is now a Colombian restaurant, not a...
Read moreFirst time visiting from El Paso and we had the torta de asada and tacos de asada with one horchata. The food was SO GOOD! Authentic Mexican food and very delicious at that. They give you so much meat that I was able to make extra tacos. The horchata itself was so so good that I regretted not asking for two. Also the lady at the register was SO kind and nice! We were there for pickup and she made sure we took a good amount of salsas and napkins for the road 😊 Will definitely be back before...
