Fiasco Cocktails & Sports Bar — Restaurant in San Antonio

I witnessed something Amazing last night in a little neighborhood bar call Fiascos Cocktails at 2250 Thousand Oaks. My first time there. Ages 40 & up crowd of maybe 25-30 people. They had several big screen tvs set for the Astros game to begin. Everyone was having fun and typical bar noise. As soon as the Beautiful singer started to sing the National Anthem...dead Silence. I looked all around and everyone there was honoring our country with total respect of silence. As soon as the Anthem was completed they shouted Play Ball. I teared up. We threw a surprise party for my dad’s 60th birthday at Fiasco! And let me tell you Fiasco Sports Bar exceeded our expectations with their excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Jessica Marie Lugo, the owner, was a delight to work with and ensured that every aspect of the celebration went smoothly. Her husband Ed was instrumental in setting up the slideshow. Our servers, Lexi, Jamie, and Kevin, were attentive and made sure everyone felt valued and cared for. Even some of their regulars helped out with some heavy lifting. My tab was charged twice and they actually charge you the 1.00 hold on your card, instead of dropping that and just charging you the total. Sounds petty but why charge that dollar? The second charges are still pending a week later. Im hoping those will disappear but still not real covienent to basically put a hold for twice your bill on your card.
