Iraqi cafe — Restaurant in San Antonio

Let me start off by saying all we wanted was decent food. Got what tasted like tomato paste with ground beef and potatoes (didnt taste seasoned at all) asked to send it back so the cook had the audacity to approach us and tell us we pay for what we order but he would take care of it this one time. He aggressively argued back and forth that we had a lot of food (which wasnt what we asked for at all, the food didn't taste good at all) The cook shouldn't be in charge of customer service, he should just stay where he belongs which is in the kitchen. Server didnt have a note pad when we first started ordering so she said "let me go get it so I dont mess up" yet she doesnt know the menu, didnt bring an appetizer that we ordered and only came to the table 2 times. The ONLY pleasant person was the guy at the bar. A restaurant is 100% customer/consumer based. Dont run off the people that are more than willing to over pay for services. Oh and not to mention the fried pickles starter is only like 9 or 10 pickles and fries for 6.99, not...

The first few times I came here the food was amazing !! I thought I found a new place to love. The last time I ordered from here, was the most horrible experience I’ve had with them. I ordered 2 Chicken Shawermas with extra toppings on both & no tomatoes on one of the sandwiches. I received my order through Uber eats & once I got it all I had was Chicken & saggy lettuce! Very disappointed! I called to inform them on the mess up & the guy I spoke with said he’d fix & replace it for me next time. I called the day after because I had just got off work & was hungry. I called to speak to them about the conversation me & the guy who said he’d take care of me had. I was spoken to very rudely & dismissively by a different guy who failed to try & fix the problem or listen. He wanted to argue with me instead & be right. He became frustrated & told me that he’s not going to fix my order or replace it. That’s not the way customer service should be handled. You guys should work on communicating with customers better.
