I have never had such horrible customer service to the point I felt the need to leave a review until now. Last night I went to this Sonic because they have been pretty decent until this point. Whoever took my order when I decided to use one of the stalls was extremely rude and wouldn't let me finish a sentence when I ordered.
Me: Can I have the number one... Employee: SIDE AND DRINK?! Me:... On the burger, can I have Mayo and easy mustard and... Employee: SIDE?! Me: ...and can I also have no cheese, onions, or pickles? I would like... Employee: SIDE AND DRINK?! Me: I would like to add jalapeƱos please? Employee: ANYTHING ELSE?! Me: Large tater tots and a blue coconut slush. Employee: Large tater tots, anything else? Me: And a blue coconut... Employee: YES, BLUE COCONUT SLUSH, ANYTHING ELSE? Me: Just cancel the order please. Employee: (sarcastically) YOU HAVE A NICE NIGHT!
The entire conversation that could have been completed within a minute was stretched to three because I wasn't allowed to simply finish my sentence. I know exactly what I want to order anytime I go to a restaurant (fast food or sit down), and it takes me about 15 seconds to make alterations to my orders. I'm also highly allergic to cheese and try to make sure to include it in the first alterations listed and hope it's repeated back to me, on top of checking my food when I get it.
They also don't like answering their phones, I literally called 23 times last night and no one answered. I even called this morning and received the same results. Whether they don't want to deal with customer complaints over the phone isn't my problem, they don't realize that people also call to give compliments and are missing out on the right employees getting recognized for their hard work. It's a sinking ship and the few rude employees are dragging down the good ones.
If this male doesn't like his job, he shouldn't be working there.
Edited to add: I left and went to McDonaldās instead because their customer service has been improving...

Second, order through the mobile app upon arrival place looks broken down almost like it is not even an active sonic looks to be more like an abandoned building not of the signs are lit up all the screens broken, ghetto pieces of paper on each saying apple pay not working. Signs literally laying on the floor. Then I click the button on the sign because I cant even figure out where to put my stall number because I pre-ordered thru the app just to be greeted by im not taking any orders unless its through the drive through theres not enough people. I said well I already ordered through the app so what do I do and he said again im not taking any orders unless its through the drive through horrible attitude. If I would have known how to request a refund and cancel my purchase I would have done so and left immediately get to the drive thru to have to sit and wait just to get to a window were the employee is extremely aggressive and rude for absolutely no reason pretty much tosses my coneys at me and slams the window and walks off doesn't even realize he didn't give me my drink then a minute later he comes back opens the window and hes like oh here before I could even say anything slams the window again almost damn near made me drop my drink how fast he was trying to hurry up and shut that window so I couldn't speak. I absolutely hated this sonic experience and after reading some of the other reviews its obvious they aren't doing anything to fix it just stop supporting this location and let them go out of buisness they dont care about it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write reviews but yall need to hear about this. So today I finally choose sonic for lunch lol. BIG MISTAKE ! I pulled up to speaker number 11. I already knew what I wanted so I pressed the red button. Someone loudly came across the speaker and said "I'll be with you when I can." I patiently waited. Finally she came back and took my order. I work in fast food so I know how to make taking an order easy. I started to speak and right after I finish the second or third word I'm rudely interrupted by the order taker. Everytime I tried to speak instead of listening to me she cut me off and asked questions that would've been answered if she had listened for 2 more seconds. Got my order placed, but forgot I wanted ketchup instead of mayo on my burger so I pressed the button again. This lady YELLS thru the speaker. "DRIVE THRU IS THE ONLY THING OPEN RIGHT NOW." Which doesn't make sense bc she just took my order. & before I could even say anything the speaker was turned off. So now I'm in the drive thru line. There's 2 cars in front of me. It takes about 10 minutes for me to get to this speaker to RE-PLACE my order. Once again I'm being rudely cut off. & NOW they don't have half the things I wanted to order. No pretzels, no popcorn chicken, no Chilli for the fries. So I just pulled out of line and went to dairy queen. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SONIC EVER !! LEGIT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH !! & like I said I work fast food so I know how it goes but there is absolutely no reason to be that...
