Mudslingers Drive-Thru Coffee — Restaurant in San Antonio

I have lived in the area for (7) years and tried this placed 3 times. Every time I tried this place at their new location, they have failed.

Today I went through drive through and a girl approached my car to take my order with a paper. I gave her my order and she didn't take my full order and told me to pull up to the window and give the women the paper and complete my order.

When I tried to tell the woman at the window the rest if my order she looked at me like I was stupid, and just said repeated the drink I ordered like I was missing something? I told her, what do you mean? and she impolitely blurted out ' size????'. She continued to the back to make the drinks and left me there confused. Another girl came to the window to pay me out, and I heard the woman making my drinks behind her say, ' What's the problem???'.

She had a blonde Mohawk, kind of older. She was very rude. And is lucky that I did not throw my coffee back at her. When I received my drinks, she did not put cream, drizzle or anything I requested on all drinks.. at that point I told myself to take the loss and not say anything cause I felt my blood boiling and I had kids with me. I paid $22 for 3 drinks, please get it correct. Its not hard. There was only 3 cars in line, no one inside....pretty pathetic. I will not return to this place again.

For future reference:

If you hate your job, quit. Be prepared- if you are going to be rude to others, you will or might get it...

I unfortunately have to agree with another reviewer about the burnt taste in the coffee. I ordered an iced caramel latte which had a very harsh coffee flavor and not enough milk. Pretty disappointed for a $6 drink :/

The service was great and they're really close to my work so I might give them another try and just get one of their specialty beverages to see if that changes anything, but I admittedly don't have very high hopes.

EDIT: I gave them another shot, favoring a sweeter, salted caramel blended drink, and the beverage was much more enjoyable than my first time.

If you're a person who likes their coffee plain or unsweetened, you might find issue with the flavor of the coffee. But if you like sweeter beverages, especially iced or blended, give them a shot (especially since salted caramel, without being doused in chocolate, is so hard to find). They've also got a considerable non-coffee drink menu, but I haven't sampled anything...

I love mudslingers! So fun fact, I grew up in San antonio but moved away 7 years ago. I came across mudslingers 3 weeks ago while in town visiting family. When I tell you I went every single day, I mean it!! TASHA is the absolute best! She helped me make all kinds choices and concoctions. Her friendliness and attitude were a welcome thing each morning. When I couldn't make it and my mom picked the coffee up for me, she'd send well wishes and wrote heartwarming positive notes on my cup that truly brightened my days. As for the coffee itself, it's perfect! They really customize it to you your liking and don't have a haughty attitude about it. The prices are so much better than the various other company's out there, plus you earn free drinks so much faster! Choose mudslingers so they will hopefully branch out more across the country!!!
