Finding the Garden Tea Lounge was a little odd as it was at the very back of the mall but it was really lovely walking past everything and then walking into the Lounge area. There was music and the atmosphere was pretty relaxing and nice. I ordered the White Pomegranate Tea and my husband ordered just water as that was the only other choice aside form sparkling it also wasn't cold so we got ice in a glass which was fine. It was reality busy for a Saturday and the choices for scones were very limited so I guess they go quick as we were there around 1pm. The staff were really lovely and friendly. We ordered 2 different sandwiches with chips and pickles... well a very small piece of a pickle. The food isn't bad for the prices and the unique plates really suited the place. The sandwiches weren't bad, it was all very "homey" I think the only issues we had were the limited scones, no milk or sugar was brought with the tea (I would love it if they had sugar cubes rather than sugar in packets but that can't always be helped) and the wait was pretty long. When we arrived about 3 other tables did aswell and another 1 group of people where still eating so we weren't bothered by the timing at all but it was slow even to get things boxed up which took a good 15min. I do also know that there was an issue with food at the table next to us (this then made the atmosphere behind the counter and around kinda tense between the staff making it slightly awkward) which did have us worried about our own food but it was tasty so overall I think everything was good/average. Overall I would go again just for the scones and tea. Thank you for having us and experience the Garden Tea Lounge! Can't wait to try the...

After hearing many things about this establishment, it was time to experience it for myself. The Craftiques Antique Mall is a big antique and resale shop! Super cute! When you walk to the very back of the store, there you will find the Garden Tea Lounge. They offer sandwiches, desserts, an array of teas (hot or iced), and sides such as salad, fruit salad and chips with a pickle spear.

I ordered the Cucumber and Watercress sandwich on marble rye with chips and a pickle with an iced chocolate chai tea! It was delightful. I’d recommend.

⚠️ My sister ordered the Pesto BMT Panini with fruit salad and an iced chocolate chai tea. She is allergic to tree nuts, and unfortunately, we weren’t aware that pesto contained PINE NUTS until after we left the store and she felt violently sick. ⚠️

🚨Anyone who is allergic to tree nuts, DO NOT order anything with pesto because it is NOT tree-nut free! Remember to ask restaurants about food allergens! 🚨

I ask Garden Tea Lounge to please accommodate people who have food allergies by updating their physical and virtual menus by labeling anything that may have a food allergen. Luckily my sister had her EpiPen handy, and she didn’t need it, but I wish I could’ve prevented her getting sick if I knew what was in pesto. It was her first time eating it, too.

Regardless of this experience, I would still recommend and would visit again in the future. Nice ambience and good food. Decent prices. I just want them to acknowledge that there will be customers with food allergies, and if they still want business, they need to advertise what contains...

I love my afternoon tea parties and took my mother here for her first one. We had a blast! It's definitely not going to be my mom's last time here as she's already planning on when to have her next visit! She was very impressed with the whole experience and it made me a happy daughter to see her enjoy herself ☺️ We saw that they had a children's tea party option and we think my nieces/her grandkids will love it for a future booking!

The chef took her time to personally and thoroughly explain the teas and our wonderfully curated meal. She carefully crafted our menu items to our dietary preferences. You can tell that she made these with love! The person who took my reservation and served our teas was also meticulous and made sure our day was perfect! She was very kind and checked on us to make sure everything was amazing. 1000/10 stars in tea options, taste, dietary accomodations, and you get a discount on loose leaf teas and tea items for making an afternoon tea reservation!

I love coming here and shopping at the antique mall afterwards. It's such a unique experience that other afternoon tea shops don't have. I highly recommend booking your tea party with them or just getting a drink or snack while you're shopping for antiques...

The good: the food was really good! My sister and I both got turkey sandwiches and fruit salad, and I got a scone as well, which was straight from the oven. The bad: the service was terrible. We stood at the counter for a bit before anyone even acknowledged us. We were told there would be a bit of a wait because of the 2 groups already there (maybe 12 people total). They got our food out in about 15 minutes and, as mentioned above, it was really good. We waited for my tea for nearly an hour. After a bit, I asked to just get it to go. I was asked multiple times to remind them what type of tea I ordered and if I wanted it hot or cold. We eventually left without getting tea.
