Brevity Coffee Co. — Restaurant in San Antonio

We go to Brevity…a lot, but this location has been a hit or miss. I always order the same drink and my husband will vary his preferred three choices. We’ve ended up with a different taste, either not enough milk (oat, coconut, or HC) or too much. The coffee may be a bit stronger, the amount of caramel drizzle is always different, sometimes poured on top, sides, or the bottom and we always ask for sugar free syrup in which there isn’t enough flavor at times. Our go to locations are always DeZavala (close to work) and the Blanco and 1604 (close to home). Service is really friendly and we’ve exchanged great conversations, and the drinks are nearly spot on EVERY TIME. At this location, the first time was great, the second and third visit were a miss, fourth time was a hit and the last time was a miss, plus the encounter with the most disrespectful childish girl of all locations we’ve gone to. I left feedback through my phone with text hoping Brevity would contact me to ask what happened, but that never occurred. I never wanted to leave this review, since we’d be going to Brevity since they opened the first location off Huebner and Bobcock, but...

Waiting for this place to open and noticed it’s finally open! The hope was access to solid coffee and espresso. Swung by today and acquired an espresso and an Italian soda. The espresso can best be described as lifeless ( these are early days and I am sure they will fine tune the shots) and the Italian soda was enjoyed. The shot had no texture to it and probably is just fine in a frou frou drink (I did notice a lot of them on the menu) BUT I also acknowledge that it’s a bit silly of me to not expect mainly those since people prefer those drinks and these guys are after all a business that needs to stay solid! And one hopes they do.

Will give it a try again to see if their espresso game has been upped but if nothing else the bride will definitely be indulging in...

I love a good dark smooth roast and I always order lattes with an extra shot or 2 of espresso. This coffee is good, but I feel like I’ve had better. I ordered specifically a medium iced toasted marshmallow latte with an extra shot of espresso and strawberry cold foam. The flavors and the creaminess are good, but I was expecting a little more of the espresso taste to come through. Maybe I need to try again and order 2 extra shots, but regardless the roast isn’t bad and the service is really sweet and patient!

Update: I came for a cold brew and it was disappointing I couldn’t get the same strawberry cold foam I got last time. The cold foam wasn’t even like a cold foam :/ Nice service but not...
