we spent $40 (plus a tip!) on a pick up order of two platos: 3 chicken and 3 birria with both double rice. NO DRINKS were purchased by the way. i left a %15 tip on a pick up order which was like $3-4. upon getting to the restaurant, we walked in and told the staff we were there to pick up an order. the lady helping us out said nothing, walked over to the rack, silently handed it to us, and walked away. we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was just having a rough day. nevertheless, we were excited to try the food as we want to support local. immediately, the quality of the chicken was poor. it was overly chewy and overwhelmingly salty (and i’m someone who loves salt!!) the guacamole i got on it helped a lot, the guac was great! unfortunately, it was so salty i could only eat 1/3 of the tacos which is upsetting in itself. the rice was super dry, but we had some extra limes at home, so i threw it on the stove and steamed it for a few minutes to add some moisture into it. the birria tacos were also pretty mid. the quality of the meat was okay, but it doesn’t come with consume like traditional birria tacos do, which was a letdown as they charge an extra $2 for it to be quesabirria. mariachis down the street charges $15 for 3 birria tacos with consume and they are AMAZING. all around, we are super disappointed in this place!! $40 down the drain and will probably have to eat somewhere else when we could’ve spent $30 down the road and been satisfied with full bellies. overall unfortunately just seems like a money grab, not somewhere wanting regular customers. we will sadly not be...
Read moreWait time: I arrived at Güeritos and was 11th in line. I took the liberty to time how long it took to get to the front of the line from the moment I formed at 5:30PM on a Sunday. There was only 1 register open during my visit. I was at the front of the line at about 6:00PM for a total of 30 minutes to be served and average movement of almost 3 minutes per order placed before I was next.
Menu: Menu was simple, but this is rather normal and not entirely a bad thing. I felt a bit pressured since there was a long line behind me, so I was not able to ask many questions about the menu. Aguas Frescas and drinks were a bit scathing in the price, but they did come pretty loaded.
Food: Asada was good! Not outstanding by any means, but good nonetheless. The birrria was bland. I ordered nachos and tacos of birrias, which I got the impression was their signature dish. I was not a fan and I had to pay extra for the consume to dip it in, which only slightly improved the birria taste.
Overall, the presentation in food was good, the prices were a bit high, and the taste was okay. I didn't hate it, but I definitely won't be coming back....

Their menu is very simple and comes in different forms of food options. They have mulitas, quesa tacos, nachos, etc. We love that everything comes separately so we can get what we exactly desire. They have many sides and add-ons that top it all perfectly. Its a very build-your-own menu. They have a containing many different salsa, that are accessible to those dining in and or taking it to go. The manager's and employee's care in your needs, in case of mess ups and etc. They have no issue in helping you out or explaining menus. They 100% love any sort of feedback and recommendations and are very willing to listen.
