The company is notoriously bougie, but the ham was a tradition in my youth when we thought it was a local business here. (I was s child.)
I volunteered to go along for the Easter acquisition. I have decades of experience in more urban cities going into a small shop to quickly grab the one thing I need. But here!
It took me more than 15 minutes to secure the pound of sliced ham I knew I wanted going in. It was a busy time of the year, but a slow part of the day. I could not get the salesperson to answer my questions about the possibility of getting a pound of ham sliced and how much it would cost. They MUST work on commission. Clerk tried to sell me a whole meal for a bargain with their mediocre pies and frozen sides. Nothing would stop this person. I began to respond with patience and kindness early in because I was not convinced the person was developmentally or emotionally challenged!
When I finally prevailed, having witnessed someone at the next register walk in, request the same thing, pay and leave all while my person was in back to have it sliced, the seller tried one last time and I said no. Just the ham. Actually said, "week that's unfortunate because it would have been cheaper for just a few dollars more."
No highly priced corporate food product is worth this much time and aggravation! 8 very nearly forgot my manners during this...

Then during a pandemic you would think they would of had someone come outside and tell the line that wrapped around the building! Horrible service! Way to take care of customers who’ve been coming for over a decade!!!

Read moreVery disappointed that we called and were told we could get stuffing sold separately in store ( even though it's not offered on web site). Went in and the lines were understandably long. Waited in line while the cashier had to stop helping the line and prepare sandwiched for the lady 2 people in front of us ( not sure why the cashier is the only person trained to make sandwiches when others were standing around). 15 minutes later she returns to the cashier ( Noone else apparently could help a line of people 15 deep while she was making sandwiches).
