Herb & Pickle — Restaurant in San Antonio

I went to the 1777 NE Loop 410 location. As this location, it is also inside a business building. The 1777 location does not appear on Google at the moment, but I still wanted to leave a good review. The service was spectacular. The guy behind the register took my order with a smile which made service so much better. I didn't expect the food to be that good, but they knocked my expectations out of the ball park. The food was absolutely amazing. 1 little critique, sometimes the tots seasoning are focused (1 section of my tots had mass majority of the seasoning), but I had no issues eating it. I had been craving a cheese steak for the longest time. Pickle and Herb satisfied that craving with the best cheese steak anyone could ask for. 10/10 worth...

I placed an order through GrubHub for Herb & Pickle. According to the order it was at 3:48 in the afternoon and the restaurant was open for business. I received a confirmation the order had been received from GrubHub and it was being prepared. Between 4:15 and 4:20 in the afternoon I received notification that the order had been cancelled. When I contacted GrubHub customer service and they informed me that approx. 8 minutes prior to me contacting GrubHub the restaurant had called and said they would not be able to complete the order. Refusal of service so that you can close at a specific time is pretty poor business practice. If an order comes in while your open you should complete it. I will not be ordering from this...

I don’t know who the heavy set gentleman is working but he really needs to wash his hand and move out the way and let the ladies do their job. I stood there and watch him grab the facet where the vents are above the stove and the start making the food. Now on the food I think the boys who were working before took pride in making the food these ladies not so much, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich I ordered was sloppy as hell who puts a hand full of pickles and ugly looking tomatoes oh and the dam lettuce was the size of a plate. Then yesterday a co worker order chicken strip salad and the chicken was way over cooked. Someone needs the health department to come and inspect this place…..Not gonna eat...
