Was my first time eating at this restaurant.
I visited with a friend while working in the area. We ordered out food and it came out after a little bit. Maybe 15 minutes. We had an appetizer and the service was decent, but our drinks went empty and no one returned until our food was ready.
When my food arrived, Pad Thai I noticed a hair in the food. We called the waiter back and he took the plate to replace it, which only took a few minutes this time.
The food flavor was decent, not outstanding, portion size was decent, when it came out I thought I was going to leave hungry but it was just enough to fill me up.
Overall I wasn't disappointed with the meal, but there was nothing overly impressive. Prices were about average compared to other restaurants.
The location was somewhat empty, the front door was blowing open and shut with the wind, I believe the floor was bare concrete, the ceiling was open and combined with the cold weather it made the dining room chilly and not very homey or inviting. With having to send my plate back after waiting , It just wasn't a good experience. I cant really complain about the food, but everything was just middle...
Read moreA bit of a Hole in the Wall place or as I rather call them a hidden local treasure it sounds nicer and is more of the truth if you ask me than hole in wall! First off usually only one older gentleman is waiting tables and cashing out people. Yet, he is always super fast and friendly. Bringing the great tasting food, always hot to the table with a smile. Another plus is, I think they have good portion sizes for the price and have no complaints. Well one tiny one I ordered the fry tofu and they only have a sweet and sour sauce that is too hot for me because I am allergic to peppers, so more my fault than theirs. I will say that I have not tried too many different dishes, since I have to get my fill of phad thai in, I think I spelled it right🤔, and this is a good stop for it. I will have to say I prefer the fried Calamari over the tofu though, because it had more flavor in my opinion but everything is good I think. Stay safe as you eat...
Read moreI went to lunch here with a friend today and was surprised by the change this place used to Thai Basil, we tried it anyway and we're glad we did. I am a big Thai food fan. Ordered lunch on their lunch special, for 2 people with a cup of soup 2 lunch entrees and eggroll for $15. Can't complain. I ended up ordering the Thai beef cashew nut with a side of fried rice. It was delicious and the perfect amount of spice for me. My friend ordered this in chicken and said it was delicious as well. Their heat scale is Medium, Hot and Thai Hot. My Hot and my friends Medium were a perfect spice. I have had Thai hot before and I love spicy but some places can be too hot so I will have to try it next time. Our waitress was very prompt and nice refilling drinks very quickly at any point and didn't break the bank. The place a has the same set up with a very nice relaxing atmosphere and decor was nice also. Thanks again and I...
