The cashier was wonderful. Our waiter was terrible! She was not allowing my wife and I enough time to organize our thoughts, so that we could decide on what to drink because a full lemonade is 2.99 I believe, and so is the tea and even the Arnold Palmer, but the waitress told us that if we chose the lemonade, we would not be able to recieve refills of tea. We were also told that if we chose the Arnold Palmer then we would recieve refills of tea. I was new to this because most places I go to either offer 1 additional refill for the real lemonades, unlimited for the fake lemonades, or simply offer refills of just tea after the initial lemonade drink. This place wanted us to buy a whole new tea drink to get refills of tea if we chose the real lemonade drink. So while we were deciding the waitress had an attitude and began gossiping to other customers about us. Afterwards, she came back and asked us if we just wanted waters. Then she began going off again, and i became aggravated, and for the first time in at least 2 whole years, I got angry at a restaurant, but thankfully all it took was some polite, but strong verbal discipline to calm her down. We then ordered, and 2/3 orders came out wrong. She blamed the cook, but she was the one who took the order down wrong, however, my wife did not specify (beef) fajita instead of Chicken fajita, but we did specify 2 rice instead of rice and beans. The food tasted maybe average. For sure the beans were extremely low on the taste meter. I chose a burrito plate, and it came out very watery internally. The entire contents inside kept sliding off of my fork. My wife does not usually become angry, but she did at this place. Not only that, but the waitress made my wife feel very uncomfortable. My wife is Filipina, and she felt as if the waitress was judging her. I also noticed it. Me, my nephew, and my wife were very unhappy with our treatment there from that waitress.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the portion sizes were great for the price. Definitely ask for chips and salsa. No...
Read moreMy Native San Antonio Fiance has been on a quest to show this DFW girl real delicious traditional Mexican and Tex-Mex for a little over a year to blow my past food experiences out of the water.
This restaurant is the first to not only impress me but to exceed all expectations. From the mini asada tacos to the asada burrito and Pollo enchiladas Verde everything was top tier.
Their tortillas are thick pillows of floured delight.
Their salsas are made with fresh fragrant ingredients that burst with flavor and compliment all entrees without over powering them. Their beans both refried and burrachos were delicious, the grilled onions and jalapeño were chefs kiss.
The only item that didn’t standout was the rice and even that was good just not on the level with the rest of our order.
Over all I would give them 10 and of 10.
Great food (even delivered) packaged with care.
Shout-out to our door dasher Travis for getting it to us hot fast and un disturbed.
For these inner fatties this was a surprising incredible find and within walking distance (not during icy winter) but will definitely become a...
Read moreLiterally just had the worst customer service here! I was in line to order, the people in front left and the lady told me to wait as I started to order. 10 minutes later, she still had not come back to take my order, I said “hello?” Nothing. Another 5 min pass, nothing. I asked if they were open, silence. I was also in a time crunch because I was trying to take food to my daughter at school. I finally decided to drive up, 2 women were literally just there talking and laughing, when I told her I was waiting for a long time, nothing, no apology, nothing. Horrible customer service! Would definitely not recommend this place if you are in a hurry. Seems like chit chatting is...
