SNAK-X — Restaurant in San Antonio

Edit: We stopped by on a Friday evening and enjoyed a fruit cup and a shake and I’m so glad we did. There was a small crowd inside and a good vibe all around. Mostly teens and up.

It was a short wait to get our snacks but I enjoyed the wait because it gave me time to check out their murals. And with the black light throughout the shop it makes the neon colors pop. Absolutely loved them.

As for the snacks , the watermelon was cold and cut into perfect bite sized pieces and my shake was absolutely delish!

I definitely recommend checking this place out. I’ll be heading back to try their Jamaican hot dog and another fruit cup. Yum!

Original : Easy to find a snack shop at a strip mall. We walked in but didn't stay. The lighting made it hard to read the menu, plus, the music playing was a bit much. We had to leave.

Even though I didn't enjoy this spot for myself I would recommend this place if you've got little ones that like to jump around/dance or looking to have a fun time listening to music while enjoying your snack. It appears to be very kid-friendly and I can imagine kiddoes...

We've been coming here for awhile, but I will no longer give my business to them. I had my son go in there to order for me and he was turned down by staff. He was also called a theif and liar. There was a misunderstanding a few weeks ago when my husband and I placed an order to buy try their burgers that came with a free ice cream or mangonadas. My husband and I both had received our meal and free item. We then placed another order for a hamburger meal and another free item for my son. We then told our son to go get his free item since we paid for his meal already. When my son went to ask about the free item the staff had given attitude and said they already gave it to him. They must have misunderstood that we ordered an additional meal after we ordered the 1st two. Again this happened a few weeks ago. My son is an honest young boy and shouldn't keep being accused that he's a theif everytime he comes into their store. If the owner reads this....please speak to your staff and train...

We were curious about this place for some time since it had a cool name and sounded interesting. The atmosphere was very interesting and fun. The employees were kind and helpful. A lot of cool paintings on the walls and balloons everywhere. I got myself a simple vanilla milkshake and it was okay. Nothing to write my mom a letter and mail it out to her…just a basic one. We also got I think it was called the Monster one which was creative and an Oreo one as well. Based on their reaction it was good. My problem was the pricing of everything. I've said this before I don't mind spending extra on a good meal but when the price doesn't justify the food I don't think its worth it personally…especailly for nearly $50 for 4 shakesmade with Blue Bell ice cream. It is definitely fun for kids in general especially for the vibes. If you happen to be in the area come...
