Jalisco Taqueria #4 — Restaurant in San Antonio

First time I’ve eaten here in a long while. When I used to eat here, the food was decent. However, this last time, they had a meatloaf lunch special. I thought it was an odd special to have at a Mexican restaurant, but I figured sometimes you find the best meatloaf at places you might not expect. And when I heard the plate came with three sides and yea for &9.25, I ordered the plate. Worst mistake I’ve made at a restaurant in a while. Everything thing on th plate was horrible. Meatloaf was barely warm as tasted as if shredded glue tortillas had been thrown in with there mix of ground beef. The mashed potatoes tasted like they had flour in them. The gravy tasted a little of hand lotion. The green. Rams we’re out of a can and unseasoned. The corn seemed like it came off of a dried out corn cob and undercooked. Should have stuck with the Me Ivan food. I still gave it three stars as their Mexican is still...

Recently had lunch at Jalisco Taqueria #4 located at 3119 S Gevers. Had one of the best tasting, freshly prepared beef chile rellenos that I have ever had . Lunch special at $6.99 no beverage. I ordered it without the cheese on top, as that is my preference. Rice and beans were the standard fare but with good flavor. One of the best Chile rellenos in my opinion. Co-worker had the beef quesadillas which were some the largest and fullest that I’ve ever seen. On previous visits the huevos rancheros were also very good and I would have no problem recommending them. Overall, a good solid restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Can’t rate on dinner as I haven’t had the opportunity to, but looking forward to in the future.

I just went to eat at Jalisco Taqueria #4 I place my order Of TORILLA SOUP with Extra Avocado My Husband place an Order Of Tip Bone With Shrimp OMG My Torilla Soup Was so SALTY!!! I couldn't even have more than 4 Spoons of Soup & My husband's Tip Bone seem Boil Not cooked on Grill when Waittress going around tables ask me if everything OKAY? I told her my Soup was SALTY, all she did was look at me like Okay & not bother to say "Would you like Something Esle?" When I went to pay my bill Of $38.00 I told the Cashier that I had not eaten the Tortilla Soup as it was so SALTY she just continue by saying your total is $38.00 Instead of Saying let me Remove that Plate from your Reciept....I left hungry from Restaurant I will SURE not be coming back Me Or My Husband & I will let My friends know who go there ALOT to do the Same I left a TIP This One "Dont put TOO MUCH...
