Emailed them before their soft opening and kept in contact amd was told they will open 7/15/20. Showed up 7/16/20. I walked in and was greeted promptly. Placed my order and sat down in a single chair by the high chairs (I was not dining in and didn't want them to have to sanitize a table again, given the climate of the country right now.) I was offered cold water while I waited. I didn't have to wait long. Speedy service for fresh food.
-Chicken Lo Mein: The noodles were nice and supple, yet held together well. I was apprehensive about ordering a dish with ginger. It is so easy for ginger to be over powering. It was not, I was relieved. Everything was cooked so well. Vegetables were not soggy. They weren't sliced too small nor to big. Only one Con, tried the chicken by itself. I was bland. I understand with these types of dishes certain things are pieced together to make a dish. But the chicken could have used some type of flavor. This isn't a big deal. Just a minor hiccup in a very tasty, hearty dish.
-Spicy Noodles (Vegetarian hottest level): my husband ate this and said the flavor was great. He gobbled it down with the extra hot oil and soy sauce provided. (His personal preference) It was a good portion and my husband and me couldn't finish them.
-Note to about take out orders: the containers they use are good quality. I hit a few bumps and no spills. You will be given your noodles separate from your broth so they do not get soggy.
Decoration: bright, a breath of fresh air without being overbearing. I appreciate the sun being blocked from the windows. The place was spotless clean and smelled like yummy food.
I will be coming here as often as I can and I reccomend...

Shifu Noodle is one of our primary ordering spots for take-out. They offer a number of dishes and fulfill orders fairly quickly. The prices are also more affordable. We had to try the dishes in person and there was definitely a big difference in taste and freshness. They are also more accommodating with vegetarian substitutions in person versus using an ordering app.
The inside of the restaurant is an open concept with booths and seats available. The ordering counter and kitchen is towards the back. It seems extremely clean and the decorations are nice and not too cluttered on the walls.
For my most recent in person order, I ordered General Tso's Tofu, which was delicious. I also ordered the Jasmine tea (hot), which is soothing and tasty. They provide the tea in a pot, which is good for 2. My partner and I usually get the bok choy with garlic and spring rolls for sides. They are always tasty and flavorful. My partner's go-to dish is the Mongolian Beef.
My only complaint is that the tofu can sometimes be a bit too firm. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy my experience coming to Shifu Noodle. I would...
Read more3 years later (2024) update: not as good as before unfortunately. Kung Pao Chicken 宫保鸡丁 is really odd, haven't had a version like this anywhere before, US or China. Also it's not really cut into 丁 (diced/cubed). Dan Dan noodles also use peanut butter instead of sesame paste which makes it from potentially really good to a little odd. Unfortunate, not sure what happened to their chefs
Came here with my entire family + brother in law. Dad is from Sichuan/Hunan.
He said it's "pretty good" which means it's very good. (Decent places only get silence).
My review: quite tasty and worth the visit! Some dishes were slightly different than what I'd call traditional or what is typical in China/other restaurants, but different in a good way (which is rare). Recommend: dan dan noodles, beef brisket noodles/rice noodles, spicy cumin beef, jumbo shrimp dishes.
Maybe they're tailoring towards more American clientele but the spice level is not very spicy (for native Sichuan/Hunan eaters). Portions are smaller but prices are cheaper so it works out...
