KFC — Restaurant in San Antonio

The KFC 2907 Thousand Oaks has serious quality food issue for health.

It's concerning that the chicken was not fully cooked and cooked in old bad oil. This could be a health and safety issue that KFC should take seriously. It's also unfortunate that the food tasted like old stale food, I have to through away my food paid over $30.00. which is not what anyone expects from a restaurant that specializes in fried chicken.

It's possible that the staff at this location are not following proper food handling procedures, such as changing the oil regularly and ensuring that the chicken is fully cooked. KFC should have strict guidelines in place to prevent these kinds of issues from occurring, and it's disappointing to see that they are not being followed.

KFC store owner being cheap and cutting corners can lead to a loss of customers in the long run. I do notice this location is going down. I wonder WHY?

My advice for future customers to think twice before visiting this location is sign of health danger. It's important to be aware of the quality of food and service you can expect before deciding to dine at this particular KFC restaurant. Hopefully, KFC will take steps to address these issues and improve the quality of food and service at this location.

I’m only giving 1 star because either the restaurant closes earlier than stated online, or because someone working three different nights lately has decided to close early. So, I can’t necessarily rate the food, but I CAN leave a review and maybe I can save someone a trip or have them change their hours. I take care of my 70 year old father but I don’t live with him. I call him after work and ask what he’s hungry for, if he’s even hungry, which usually he’s not. Lately, it’s been a chicken sandwich from KFC…. I’ve tried three times and he still hasn’t gotten one. I understand the industry - I’ve been in it since I was 16. I get off late sometimes and I know when it comes close to closing, you don’t want to serve another customer. I really do get it. But I have been three times now and I’ve always been at least an hour before they close and still - no one answers. I sit at the drive through - lights and sign still on, and get no response. I even called on my phone and STILL, no one responds.

It just frustrates me. I’m not trying to make a huge fuss…. Or get anyone in trouble. But, if you’re supposed to be open, then be open. And if you’re not, then update your hours.

I'M ALIVE NO THANKS TO KFC ON THOUSAND OAKS This KFC set a new low for bad fast food chicken. I came in and it was empty, that should have been a WARNING. So, I went up made my order and was greeted by two employees. A shift leader and an employee. So, I asked for a pot pie, two legs,and a BOX of fries. Now I ask the employee the price for just chicken she said 6.49. I replied yall robbing me and laughed, then the Manger came and handed me the pot pie and I wasn't even done ordering. Then the Manger said if you want white meat will give it to you for the same. Of course I said yes. Then I said to employee don't forget the box of fries, she punches something in and the price pops up 4.99. So, I'm expecting a HUGH CHURCH'S CHICKEN BOX. YOU KNOW WHAT I GOT..PotPie had set under heat so long one side was xtra dark and it was so light on filling, I should have went to Heb for pot pie. Chicken Breast had no skin looked like somebody ate the skin off the breast. That's best part.lol. Leg that smelled like fish and a Large fry with the weight of a medium carton, cold floppy fries top it off.They charged me 19.45 for food that if I had eaten could have possibly caused me to get sick 😫.
