Taqueria Datapoint #2-Zarzamora Street Location — Restaurant in San Antonio

This place acts as if they don't CARE about their employer or their business - the guy cook was running at the mouth about how CRUDO (hangover) he was. First, we called to see if they had Carnitas, they stated they did, I say because not all Mexican Restaurants serve pork carnitas. So, my partner went to pick up food on the bus, we have no vehicle, that's why we call 1st. He comes home & we open our food...the Carnitas were for me, but I got Carne Asada instead. My partner had Carne Guisada which was a different color from what is normal, but the meat for both plates was TOUGH & CHEWY, to me that means NOT FRESH, you would think beans on a flour tortilla with cheese would be standard for a burrito. But these people, gave lettuce & tomatoes (cold) & refried beans with cheese (hot) in the same container not on burrito which meant I had to heat up beans & chop my own veggies, cuz they gave me soggy veggies. Plus, I had to toast the whole thing cuz tortilla was greasy & wet!!! Problem was when we called back...the woman who my partner was talking with started out with an ATTITUDE, ARGUING with him & then just HUNG UP!!! Well ma'am, you just CUT OFF YOUR OWN FOOT, so to speak, cuz most things can be cleaned, fixed or upgraded. But, a bad attitude shows you have no sense of business savvy, no respect, no professionalism, no heart & no passion or compassion for others. Had you just said "I'm sorry, let me fix that for you!" You chose to be hateful, how immature of you, hope your business...

Every time we have been there we ask them to only give us salsa roja because the green one is just like water and they always say ok, but they never do. Every time we order to go and when we get home we always have salsa verde. I’m not sure if they do it on purpose but I think it’s very disrespectful towards their customers and dishonest too. I’ve asked them before if they only gave us salsa roja and they tell me yes and it’s a lie.. Only want time we ate inside and my tacos tasted like they were rotten. I had to asked for something to else in the end. Today onions smelled like they were old too, even the limp me seemed like they were from yesterday or something. Before when we asked for the barbacoa our avocado was always black and not green, so when I would ask then to put it aside not inside with the barbacoa they would still put it inside. I think for a restaurant they should be more careful with this things and they need to learn and have workers there that are more respectful towards their customers. I’m really upset right now because its not the first time they do this to us and I always try to let it go but I feel like people need to know and they need to learn too. Okay this is new to me... been passing it for a while I thought I'd give it a shot... Let me tell you three tacos for under $3 that was a real steal. But only a steal if they tasted good... AND THEY DID! Fat fluffy tortillas. Yum. Say it. Fat fluffy tortillas. Are you feeling it? Not super stuffed but decent especially for the price. And apparently you can get whatever you want... I got chorizo an egg and potato egg and bacon, So I don't know if there's any restrictions...but im telling you, even three been and cheese would have been great! I'm definitely going to try it again so I can try to write it up again it... And well... so I can have those tortillas again lol

UPDATE... had the beef fajita nachos. Yum. Big dab of sour cream and guacamole. The beef was tender and juicy. This friend ordered the fideo Loco with beef. They loved it. We noticed a lot of beef in there and the broth was excellent. They also got a cup of guacamole. It was 495 but if you know the price of avocados right now you got a nice cup of guacamole. Just the right amount of fixings added although my friend did add salt, although I think they would add salt to a salt lick LOL. Overall...
