La Cocinita — Restaurant in San Antonio

I went to this place trying to find somewhere new and local. And the reviews are mix so i decided to give it a try. Good is descent nothing out of this world. I had the picadillo plate it had ok taste but it wasn't picadillo it was seasoned ground beef, the flour tortillas were ok. Service sucks. No one came to check back on me after i got my food, even though the owners were there. I headed to the register to pay and had to wait for the owner to finish texting before he started with my transaction and not a word from him except "you want your receipt? ". Will NEVER go back and DO NOT recommend this place. Try it if you will, at your own risk. Don't go with any kind of expectations and make your own...

Would’ve liked to give zero stars 😫 Stopped by this place for the first time to try. To start when I walked in there was only 1 other person there (customer) he had already placed his order and was just talking to the older woman at the counter. The lady did not greet me and almost looked irritated that I came in and Interrupted their conversation. She got her book and pen to write my order but never asked me what she can get me 🤦🏽‍♀️. I ordered 2 bean and cheese tacos to go and was very disappointed. I wasted $5.03 on garbage. I will not be going back …. Service & food...

I saw all the bad reviews and was wondering how many are true or are they just another form of slandering. I gave it a shot their new to this location and there is always room for improvement I told the assistant manager I will return and see if they improvement their food.their service still needs a little polishing. The atmosphere is awesome compared to the other restaurants that was there.
