La Que Birrieria — Restaurant in San Antonio

Hungry one night and wanted tacos. And oh how happy I am to have found this place. The service is amazing. Every is helpful and friendly. I didn’t know what I wanted and the cashier takes her time to help make sure that you are aware what your getting and will help you find something to fit your appetite.

When it comes to the food, I was nervous but oh how surprised I was. The food is perfect, not greasy or messy. Each bite is filled with a flavor burst in your mouth. Seasoned to perfection. The mini tacos are amazing best pastor in the city, not to sweet and perfectly cooked. Asada is seasoned with love from the Gods and not over cooked.

I’ve never been much into carnitas, but they have changed my opinion. The tosticarnes is the most amazing item on the menu. The meat is cooked to perfection, not too salty and not under seasoned. It’s tender and flavorful in every bite.

And the salsa is something that I’ve never had before. It’s just the perfect amount of spice and flavor.

If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food and friendly service, this is your place. If you haven’t been here, I suggest getting up and heading over to La Que Birrieria for an experience...

We have passed this location so many times with the intent to stop and eat and we FINALLY did it!

This location has plenty of parking, lots of room to eat outside and some room inside as well. You walk up to the window and someone is ready to take your order. They give you a tiny ticket with your order number that gets picked up after you receive your food.

THE FOOD🤤: For our first time, we kept it simple. My husband and I ordered the Quesabirrias(3). It came with cilantro, onions, a lime wedge, comsome, and two types of salsa. Presentation was beautiful and neat. The first bite of Birria was amazing. I stuffed my birrias with all the cilantro and onion, squeezed some lime and dipped it consome and salsas. Wish we would have got the order of 4 instead of 3, but it was definitely enough to satisfy our hunger.

Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to make a quick stop and taking it to go or just wanting to sit and eat...

At Birria Barrio the cashier was very helpful and took our order right away. The order consisted of quesabirria tacos but our intent was to order the Birria ramen, which by the end of the night was no longer available due to demand. I would definitely be back to try the ramen after tasting the delicious tacos. The consume was perfect and flavourful, it was a perfect match to the packed taco. The parking lot has more than enough space to park and the restrooms were made available and were tended to. The seating arrangements outside are perfect for larger groups.
