I was really rooting and hoping this school was going to be a great experience bc when I applied the administrator was so nice! However the administrator was being nice because he's sneaky! I had to sign up for school through the phone and the administrator Richard Rizzo was helping me and when it was time for me to sign up for financial aid Richard Rizzo was on the phone listening to EVERYTHING! Then the financial aid woman was asking for my personal info including my social security number! I was sooo uncomfortable sharing bc I knew that creepy administrator man was listening but I had no choice but to tell her my SS number so I can sign up for school. Keep in mind that I signed up for school in January. Fast forward to March, I get denied medical insurance bc apparently someone in San Antonio has been occupying my SSN working under my name! Apparently I've been working since February 2024, right after I signed up for school!!! Im not from Texas, the only association I have with San Antonio is this School! I'm so angry bc I was mistreated at the Nevada career institute, now there's a possibility this school stole my identity! I've been calling SCI to speak to someone higher up about if Richard was supposed to listen to my information and no one wants to answer me so it's very obvious that this man wasn't supposed to hear to my SSN but he did anyways, he most likely wrote it down, and sold my information to illegal immigrants!! DON'T ATTEND THIS SCHOOL UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR IDENTITY STOLEN!!!
UPDATE: I called corporate and no one answered my calls but I was able to get in touch with the supervisor of financial aid "Nikki"...I caught this woman in the BIGGEST LIE!! I asked her " was the School administrator supposed to listen to my personal info while I was on the phone with the financial aid lady" she was stuttering until I screamed " yes or No" Nikki responds with " it's our policy to have our school administrator listening" that sound weird, irresponsible, not right. So I called the financial aid gov 5 mins after Nikki hung up on me and asked if the administrator was supposed to listen to my information and they said " ABSOLUTELY NOT, HE WAS SUPPOSED HANGUP & GIVE ME MY PRIVACY!!! so not only did Richard listen to my personal info when he was not supposed to but the supervisor LIED! because they know this is a serious crime! This school is ran by thieves and liars!!!
UPDATE: THE SCHOOL EXPELLED ME! THE EXPULSION LETTER WAS SENT IN AN EMAIL FROM A WOMAN NAMED LACHELLE HOUFMAN! THE EXPULSION LETTER WAS NOT STAMPED BY SCHOOL AND HAD NUMEROUS GRAMTICAL ERRORS! THIS SCHOOL IS...
Read moreAs I am soon near to my final hours, SCI was the best choice at helping me not only embrace my GIFT but TRULY began to walk in my GIFT! I am a mom of five AMAZING KIDS and my time here at SCI was a HUGE ROLLERCOASTER and I wanted to give up so many times!! LISTEN... When I tell you the Best Director in the state of TEXAS Runs that salon and no matter how many times I walked in liked I'm done I can't do this anymore I'll come back another time. Mrs.Prince would say, "NOPE NOT AN OPTION"! "YOUR GOING TO FINISH"! Not just for you but for those BABiES"! It was THESE EXACT words that kept me fighting through this program. I had the opportunity to learn so many different techniques and skills under the very Knowledgeable Mrs.Katasha Prince !! If it wasn't for her taking this Career so serious I would not be so motivated to elevate and work outside my comfort zone. When I say SCI picked a Director that worked hands on with the students, gave a very knowledgeable and skillful experience especially when it came to being multicultural!! Mrs.Prince played no games whether in the classroom or the salon floor she gave everyone the opportunity to show their skills amongst one another and on clients. One Thing I love about her skills class was the student spotlight during mod transitions. I had the opportunity to give out so much information that I had gained while at SCI and over the years of my personal experiences and it was amazing seeing peers dominate in something you taught.! THANKS MS.PRINCE!!Because of Mrs.Prince, Mrs.Anna, and Ms.Vicitoria, they took the anxiety away of studying and preparing for state board. You test, test, and test for both written and hands on practical and they make sure your fully prepared for both exams with skills, knowledge, preparedness! I'm weeks away from testing but I feel as though now, I can walk in and pass both exams with confidence...
